I ended up removing the slider and creating it again. That fixed the problem. Your comment about the images actually led me in this direction, thanks!

So I was able to resolve the new portfolio item by updating WordPress, but now I have two other issues:

1. The portfolio categories no longer show.
2. My portfolio mainly consists of videos, and I want to insert one still image that links to a separate page, and opens in a separate tab. However, it tries to open within a window inside the current tab and spins and spins…

Ideas? Thanks
