Eric Bertolaso (Kidbert6).November 14, 2019 at 11:21 am in reply to: Widget elements do not appear in the sidebar of my home page #1156707Hello Rikard,
I completely redesigned my homepage and I succeeded.
I count the number of visitors with a small widget. I found it on: http://fr.web-counter.net/
Thank you for your help.
With kind regards.
Eric Bertolaso (Kidbert6)November 13, 2019 at 1:04 pm in reply to: Widget elements do not appear in the sidebar of my home page #1156386Hello Rikard,
Thank you for your quick answer.
I have only one full width element (the first one). The others are in 1/1, 2.5/1.5/1.5/2.5, 1/1, 2.3/1.3, etc.
Despite this, widgets still appear at the bottom of the home page. This is not aesthetic.
But on reflection, it’s not very important whether or not the sidebar appears on my homepage.
I’m going to redo sections to make a full page.
However, what is important to me is the widget that counts the visits and displays them.
Is there a way to display this widget on the home page? How to do this?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
With kind regards.
Eric Bertolaso (Kidbert6).November 12, 2019 at 6:26 pm in reply to: Widget elements do not appear in the sidebar of my home page #1156071Hello,
Sorry, I didn’t see that you answered me.
I would like to remind you of the problem:
1) In the home page, the sidebar is empty while on the other pages the widgets appear.
2) In the home page, the widgets that should appear in the sidebar are displayed at the bottom of the home page.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Eric Bertolaso (Kidbert6)Hello, Victoria,
That’s it, everything’s fine now. I found a correct menu.
Thank you very much for your help.
You have been very patient with me, for which I am very grateful.
I have another problem now but it has nothing to do with this subject.
I’m going to open a new ticket.
Thank you again, dear Victoria.
With kind regards.
Eric Bertolaso (Kidbert6).Hello, Victoria,
Thank you for your response and for your patience with me. I do not speak English, I correspond with you through machine translation software). I don’t understand the word “mockup“. My translation software renders it as a “model” (such as “reduced model” or “maquette” in French). What I would like to achieve:
The font for writing sub-menus must be identical on each position of the main menu. The sub-menus must be presented in a drop-down menu.
Example :
1) Go to the main menu and select “LES PRIX“. You will see the drop-down menu expand downwards. Notice the writing font (it is small).
2) Go to this drop-down menu and select “Prix des kits de granulat de de marbre”. You will see a drop-down menu extending down (Notice the font (it is also small).
This is what I want to see on each position of the main menu. Drop-down menus with a smaller font than the main menu font. What’s wrong with it:
1) Go to the main menu and select “RESI Group“. You will see that the presentation is not the same. No drop-down menu.
2) In the main menu, go to “CONTACTS“. You will see that the presentation is not the same either. There is no drop-down menu. That’s it, I hope I said it right.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Friendly.
Eric Bertolaso. (Kidbert6).Hello, Victoria,
Thank you for your answer.
Sorry, but it doesn’t work. I tried to insert the code in both ways, as you said, but nothing works.
I tried to change the size of the font but nothing moved.
With this code we act on the mega menu, but the height of the font of the mega menu does not bother me. Rather, it is the height of the link font (in the drop-down menus) that is the problem.
In addition, why some of the mega menu locations fit well (Example: LES PRIX –>Prix des kits de granulat de marbre).
Only “CONTACTS” and “RESI Group” do not register well. Why ?
Another thing again, I have several identical sites with the same ENFOLD theme. I don’t have this problem on the other sites. Why ?
I hope that these thoughts will help you.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Eric Bertolaso (Kidbert6).Hello, Victoria,
Thank you for your answer.
Yes, I would like the menus to have the same font (the smallest). I don’t see where to make the adjustment.
I don’t see where to make the adjustment.
Can you guide me?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
With kind regards.
Eric Bertolaso. (Kidbert6)Hello, Victoria,
These are the two screenshots of my main menu.
Capture 1 (Normal-writing-font-from-the-main-menu): Normal writing
Capture 2 (main-menu-font-too-large): writing too big
Thank you in advance for your answer.
With kind regards.
Eric Bertolaso. (Kidbert6)Hello, Victoria,
The site is no longer under maintenance.
What is the procedure for sending screenshots ?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Eric Bertolaso. (Kidbert6)Hello, Victoria,
Thank you for your advice. I downloaded the update of my ENFOLD theme and installed it.
Unfortunately, the problem I have is still there.
When I position myself on “CONTACT” and “RESI Group” of the main menu, the font of the sub-pages in the drop-down menu is too large.
On the other hand, the sub-pages of these sub-pages of the drop-down menu display the correct font.
How can I fix this problem?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
With kind regards.
Eric Bertolaso (Kidbert6).Hello, Victoria,
I think you didn’t understand my request (I’m French, I don’t speak English, I use an automatic translator).
I would like to download the ENFOLD update, but I can’t.
The link Rikard sent me does not allow me to download this update.
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Best regards,
Eric Bertolaso.Hello Rikard,
Thank you for answering me. I went to the link you gave me, but I couldn’t download the Enfold file. It is possible to download the Enfold Children’s Theme but not the theme itself. How to do this?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Eric Bertolaso.March 20, 2019 at 6:06 pm in reply to: How to prevent the menu from appearing on the home page #1080935Hello Rikard,
Thank you for answering me.
But I don’t understand your explanation.
I’ll explain what I don’t understand. If I seem picky to you, you should know that it’s intended. I don’t speak English and I have to work with web translators. These translators are not always faithful and I am obliged to make short and concise sentences.
Can you show me the way to the setting because I can’t find it?
Example :
WordPress dashboard > Enfold Child > General layout > Formatting > etc…That’s what I don’t understand:
1 – You: “You should be able to define the header behavior in the Layout menu”
Question: Where is this menu located?
2 – You: “from the edit screen for each page individually”
Question: What do you call the edit screen? Where is he now?
3 – You: “Have you checked the settings of the pages that don’t work?”
My pages work, what’s wrong is this:
When my home page appears, the top menu appears on my site xxxxxxxx.lu (The exact name is in the private part of this message). I would like it to be like on my sites xxxxxx.fr and xxxxxx.be, it doesn’t appear (it only appears when you scroll down). If it appears when you scroll down it doesn’t matter, but I don’t want the menu to appear when the home page is displayed. This causes visual problems.
On my sites xxxxxx.fr and xxxxxx.be everything is fine (the menu does not appear immediately, it only appears when you scroll down. I can’t find out why this doesn’t work on my other sites, but my settings look the same.
Thank you very much for helping me.
With kind regards.
