Hi Mike,
That fix worked perfectly. Thank you so much for your help!
Hi Ismael,
I’ve done one better – I attached a short screen recording which demonstrates exactly what I am referring to. Please see the ‘private content’ section, and let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you!

December 13, 2023 at 10:56 pm in reply to: Unable to Change default Attachment Display Settings #1428039Thanks, Mike. I think we’ve exhausted all options here from a theme perspective, I will explore other avenues at this point. Appreciate your help.

What a strange situation. When I tried logging in with the account I created for you, it works perfectly.
I can’t imagine how or why this settings would be user-specific when I am adjusting core PHP files such as ‘functions.php’. Do you have any suggestions on how I might be able to fix this without creating a new account?
Appreciate your help.

Thank you for sharing and for having a look.
My experience is completely different from yours, I tried both methods (add media and the advanced layout editor) and both result in ‘medium’ default image size.
Please see the private content section – I’ve included a one-minute video and screen recording showing step-by-step what I’m trying and what seems to be happening.
Thanks!

Just tried that. Disabled all plugins and then tried (a) creating a new post and (b) editing an existing post.
Still no change. The image attachment settings still default to ‘medium’.
I’ve included administrator credentials in the private section, if you don’t mind having a look.

Thank you for the response.
I followed your suggestion and tried creating a completely new post instead of updating an existing one, and the problem persists.
As you mentioned, when I added the code snippet to my Enfold ‘functions.php’ file, I do correctly see the changes reflected on the ‘options.php’ page. See private content attachment.
I even tried using the same WP Code plugin you used to create a PHP snippet, and the problem persists. The attachment display settings remain stuck at ‘medium’ instead of ‘large’. See private content attachment.
Happy to share access to the website if it helps troubleshoot.

That worked when I added it to the WordPress customization, thank you!
If it helps anybody else in the future, thought I should mention this made no difference when I added it to Quick CSS.
Thank you!
Hi John,
I actually have already purchased the Revolution Slider, so I’ll look into it. I didn’t realize it included this!
Thank you for your help.
Hi Basilis,
You’re correct, I am indeed using the Advanced Layout Builder.
I didn’t realize this would be an issue! Are there any workarounds that will allow me to retain my work with the Advanced Layout Builder?
Thanks,
KevinHi Rikard,
Details attached.
Thanks,
KevinHI Yigit,
I tried following your instructions, but unfortunately, it didn’t appear to resolve the problem on my end.
However, I was able to find a solution. I installed ‘Open Sans’ fonts from Google on my machine, and the web pages immediately began loading correctly.
I’m not sure why this only began occurring a few weeks ago, as I’ve never had the fonts installed – but whatever it is, this was clearly a local machine issue. I apologize for wasting your time.
Thank you for your help, and keep up the great work with Enfold!
Kevin
Hey Basilis,
I haven’t made any changes. Please see links to the attached screenshots – #1 is on a Windows machine, and #2 is on my Mac – both in Chrome. You’ll see everything is in bold on the Mac.
Thanks,
Kevin
Greatly appreciated. This resolves the issue!
Hi Andy,
My apologies – I have re-enabled right-click functionality.
I have also included a link to a mock-up in the private content section. I have included an image showing what it currently looks like, and what I’m hoping for it to look like.
Essentially, I want to reduce the spacing between each of the elements.
Regards,
KevinI was able to get rid of the margin on the left-hand side of every image by placing the Masonry element outside of a layout element. I also changed the gap between elements to ‘No Gap’.
However, despite this, I now still have a gap between each of the images. I have again removed all Quick CSS customizations to see if I can remove this gap, with no success…
