    …was a php-version issue. Updated via my hosting-settings, now everything is back again :-)

    found the reason / solved the problem!

    don’t know why, but the dynamic_avia folder was located in wp-content and not in wp-content/uploads/ after installation.
    copied in into the uploads subfolder of wp-content – now it works!
