Thanks Ismael, I did read that. I couldn’t figure a fix around this, especially since it works on the normal theme and not the child theme. I reverting back to using just the standard theme without the child theme. This seems to have fixed the issue.
Hi Vinnie,
The only change that I made before this problem was that I updated to the newest version of Enfold and I switched to leveraging the child theme.
Thanks!
Video of with the code snippet:
http://screencast.com/t/DFxqWtoHuh.avia-section, .avia-section .av-parallax-inner { background-size: contain !important; }
Video without the code:
http://screencast.com/t/lGnDF3RwiNotice that with the code snippet that there is a fairly large white space gap between the color section and the content of the page. Without the code the picture is completely blown up to maximum resolution.
Also, when I try to access the Media Library from within a post it doesn’t load.

Thanks!
Interesting, did not realize that. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks!
Looks like that worked! Thanks :D
Thanks Ismael. It is working for my PC, but not for my mac. I’ve tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
I noticed that there are a bunch of other threads open for this as well:

This reply has been marked as private.So, I noticed something odd and I think it has to do with the way that my FTP securities are set. None of the setting in the dashboard carry over and I have to do things with the css.
If I want to use the Open Sans Light 300 font in the body how could I do that?
body{
font: Open Sans Light 300;
font-size:16px;
}?
Thank you again!!
The theme preferences does not seem to allow me to make an global change for the font size of all the main content. I am thinking that it would be nice a little bigger, how would I do that on a global scale? Is there a way to do it in the dashboard, or do I need to edit the CSS?
Thanks! This did it.
Many thanks Elliott!
Hi Elliott,
Yeah, I had to remove the padding. I noticed that the containers started to load with 0 50px 0 0 padding so I removed it in the custom css.
Thanks! This thread can be closed.
Thanks Elliot! That allowed me to make changes to the container set and it to 1030px.
Is there any thing I can do for the black bars on the vimeo embedded videos?
Hi Elliott,
The FTP is hosted through the UC school system and they have very strict access rules. So, I won’t be able to send you FTP login. Also, I think that is why the enfold.css stylesheet is not updating.
If you could let me know the css tags that I can add into the custom.css file I believe that changes will stick there.
Happy thanksgiving and thank you for your hard work!

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Elliott,
Is there a way to make these changes in the custom css? I changed the values on the dashboard -> enfold -> general layout, but nothing changes on the site. I’ve had this problem before and had to fix things through my custom.css.
You rock. Thank you everyone!
Update: I figured out that the css tag for the circle+arrow overlay on pictures is .image-overlay-inside:before, so that issue is resolved.
I’m still having link coloring issues on the left-hand side of the linked page.
Bumping this, sorry if bumping is against the rules.
Thanks Yigit! That changed most of the links, if you go to page: http://ehc.english.ucsb.edu/, you’ll notice that the links on the left-hand side are green while the ones in the center are dark gray.
I used #444444 to change the middle links to dark gray with your provided code.How do I change the links on the left? Also, how do I change the colors of the cirlces with the arrows that appear when you hover over a picture?
Thank you again!!
Awesome! That worked perfectly.
Thank you
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Ismael,
I actually resolved the issue. There was some kind of bug my test page and after deleting that then recreating it everything worked perfectly.
Perfect! Thanks Josue.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
I’m trying to get this done without any of the Avia Advance Layout content. If possible, I would like to get all the formatting done through css/HTML.
On a side note, I tried the code block element and it didn’t work.
