Thanks Ismael, but that won’t do anything.
I’ve attached a screenshot below to help you understand what effect I’d like to achieve. It’s the background between the two green lines, which I would like to make transparent.
I’d like to break up the uniform white background of the product image a bit to create a more finished look.
Many thanks for your help guys.
Thanks for getting back to me Rikard.
My shop isn’t live as of yet, so you will need to jump to the login page to bypass maintenance mode and log in to my site.
As you can see, I created a single product with a corresponding product image. What I would like to see is a transparent background for the area underneath the cover of the document; with other words for the area with product title and price. I believe, it’s the inner_product_header.
Many thanks, Rikard.
May 26, 2016 at 9:25 am in reply to: Matching Transparent Header Hover and Active Link Colors #638592Fantastic! Thank you very much Ismael. I truly appreciate it.
Excellent support. Very happy! :-)
May 24, 2016 at 10:17 am in reply to: Matching Transparent Header Hover and Active Link Colors #637336Thank you Ismael, this works!
One final question though. Would it be possible to work with entirely different CSS on a particular page?
For instance, on my legal terms page, I’m working with a medium grey background where neither menu option (standard or transparent) looks particularly stunning. They white background of the standard menu looks a little off and the transparent menu option with the white logo and menu items just doesn’t stand out enough.
Now my question is, would be possible to work with custom CSS for the transparent menu options just for this particular page? What I’m thinking about is using the same settings of the standard menu item just without the white background.
I’d really appreciate your help with this.

Unfortunately I’m not sure what you are trying to imply by including the link to this website above.
Either way, please feel free to check out my site.
Many thanks for your help
May 19, 2016 at 10:01 am in reply to: Matching Transparent Header Hover and Active Link Colors #635085Thank you Ismael. This works now, however, the menu item for the active page is not highlighted anymore.
For instance, when I’m on the contact page, I’d like the corresponding menu item to be highlighted, even if this page uses the transparent header option. I remember that this worked before. Would you mind looking into that? I would really appreciate it.
Many thanks.
May 18, 2016 at 12:34 am in reply to: Matching Transparent Header Hover and Active Link Colors #634093Many thanks Jordan, but your code snippet doesn’t make a difference. It’s the same.
Any other ideas? I would appreciate them.
Many thanks again.
Hi there,
I just came across this request and like the effect.
Is there any way to just apply to the masonry image gallery but NOT TO the masonry style blog posts.
I would also like to display a list of links (menu items), if you will, instead of an image.
I’d really appreciate any pointers.
Many thanks
May 2, 2016 at 2:29 pm in reply to: Adding Semi Transparent Background to Transparent Main Menu #625789Thanks for getting in touch Ismael,
Unfortunately the site isn’t live as of yet; so, I can’t post a link to it for the time being; unless you are willing to sign in using a unique UN and PW.
You can see the entire code I used in the previous thread and it’s working just as it should; except, that I would like to change the background of the main menu and the secondary menu on top of that back to solid white upon scroll.
As far as “Guenni007” code snippets concern this, they do not have any effect.
As always, many thanks for your time and support in helping me resolve this small issue.
Hallo Guenni007
Vorab erstmals vielen lieben Dank fuer Deine tatkraeftige Unterstuetzung. Sogar mit entsprechender Testseite zur besseren Veranschaulichung … Find ich wirklich super …
#header_main, #header_meta {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6) !important;
border-bottom-width: 0 !important;
border-top-width: 0 !important
}#header_main.container_wrap {
border-top-width: 0 !important;
}.header_bg {
background: transparent !important;
}Dein Code Snippet funktioniert toll.
Nochmals vielen lieben Dank.
Hallo Guenni007, ich sehe was du meinst ….
Wenn ich mit dem transparenten Header und dem von dir vorgeschlagenen Snipet arbeite,
#header_main {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6) !important;
border-bottom-width: 0;
}dann muesste ich allerdings auch noch das daraueber befindliche extra Menu (My Account | Cart | Checkout) miteinbeziehen.
Verstehst du was ich meine?
I understand Andy, but I think Enfold is compatible with CPT UI. You guys even recommend the use of this plugin in other posts on this forum.
There is another thread on this forum https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-featured-image-with-custom-post-types-cpt-follow-up/ that seems to deal with the same issue.
I also did some digging and found that the issue can most likely be resolved by adding a code snippet to the theme’s functions.php file.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-post-type-ui-featured-image-not-showing?replies=3
I tried the proposed solution above, but it doesn’t work for me. I’m working with a child theme .
I would really appreciate it if you guys could look into this. Making this work is a fundamental aspect to my design.
Many thanks
Close, but no cigar Guenni007 … I cannot modify the transparent header because I will need it to look like it does on other pages (ie. on pages with the advanced layout slider) ….
I would need to work with the standard header and make the background somewhat transparent.
Thanks anyways
Not really Guenni007 … more like adding 0.6 transparency to the white background of the standard Enfold menu.
Thanks for your response though. I appreciate it.
February 17, 2016 at 11:28 am in reply to: Avai Layout Builder is not available in Custom Post Types #584594Thanks for the swift response Basilis,
I followed your link and, if I understand the idea of creating a child theme correctly, then this would mean that I would literally loose all content that has been created under the main Enfold Theme. Is this correct or would just certain styles and functions take precedence over the main Enfold theme?
Simply put, if I had a life website using the main Enfold theme and I would want to create a child theme now in order to be able to use Custom Post Types on my site. Would I need to start from scratch again?
Please advise.
Thanks Josue, this looks great. It’s just that the icons are a little small. Is it possible to increase their size by, let’s say, 75%, perhaps even twice their original size?
Many thanks.
Here we go Josue. You can see the social share buttons below the slider on the left-hand side
Many thanks.
Thanks for getting back to me Basillis,
I’m not sure that using the secondary menu feature will suffice.
As I mentioned above, I would like to create two additional language versions of my website, which would require translating the built-in Enfold main menu into two other languages as well. With other words, I would need to be able to use three different Enfold Main Menus in total and be able to somehow assign them to pages in the corresponding language.Does this make sense? is that possible?
Again, many thanks for your help
Thanks Eliot, I checked out WPML and it looks like it’s a cool plugin.
Just wanted double check, if there’s a way to use more than a single main menu in Enfold. That’s essentially all I would need. Not sure I could put all the bells and whistles to good use WPML and other plugins are offering.
Many thanks for your patience and your help.
Holiday Cheers!
Hi Yigit,
Yes, this works as well. Many thanks.
Thank you Yigit. That works perfectly. Maybe you should consider turning this into a standard feature.
Again, many thanksHi Yigit, I added the code to my custom css file rather than the Quick CSS to avoid having it overwritten with every update.
I used your code above and now the logo is more or less in the center, but the spinner is too small to revolve around the logo properly.
Can we make it larger to accommodate the new logo?Again, many thanks
Thanks for getting back to me Yigit,
I was playing with a logo, but ended up deleting it after I noticed that it wasn’t centered in the center of the spinner.
I uploaded a new version of the logo which is 52px x 31px.
I also uploaded your code to my custom style sheet, but now the logo is displayed underneath of the spinner.Any thoughts on how we can put it into the center?
Many thanks for your help.
Hi Yigit,
I’m sorry if my previous response came off as a little rude. This wasn’t itentional. I just thought that this was more of a standard question, which could be resolved quickly.
Anyways, as I pointed out above, I want to use a square logo, about 46px x 46px in connection with built-in page preloader. However, when I upload/use the logo, it’s placed above the spinner, as opposed to its center. Is there a way to place the logo in the center of the spinner?
I posted a link to my site in my other request and noticed that you apparently changed the password. Either way, please see access information below.
Many thanks for your help.
Hi Yigit,
I didn’t mean to come off as rude. Just thought that this is more of a standard issue that would come up rather frequently; hence, there won’t be any need for jumping through the hoops of proving access to my site. Anyways. Please find the link the my site and login credentials below.
As you can see, I would like the logo on the left to be horizontally centered in the header. I thought the site would do that automatically, but it looks like it won’t.
You can also see that I’m using #C3C3C3 as a standard font color for the menu and #22b3ed as the color for hovers and active links. How can I match that on pages where I use the transparent header option? Pages where you can see that is „Thinking“ and „Contact“.
Again, please accept my apologies, if my previous message came off as a little rude. This was not intentional, as I appreciate the level of support you provide here.
Many thanks for any pointers.
Sorry Yigit, but this response is a little lame.
I’m just trying to use the standard page preloader under the Theme Options tab.
When I upload a small square logo to be used in connection with the page preloader, the logo is displayed above the spinner, rather than in the center of it.
Again, I’d just like to have a small square logo (46px x 46px) displayed in the center of the page preloader.
My page isn’t live as of yet. If need be, I will send you login credentials, but I think it’s a pretty standard issue.
Many thanks again,
Working on the menu, I came across another issue.
When using the transparent header, how can I match the settings for the menu with the standard menu?
For example, I’m using #c3c3c3 as the font color for the menu items and #22b3ed as a hover and active link color.
How can I match this on the transparent header?
Many thanks again.
Hey Elliot, please forget the UberMenu. I’m working with the standard built-in menu now.
How can I horizontally align the logo in the header?
Many thanks for any pointers.
Rikard,
I want to achieve an effect that’s currently imaged-based. You see the layer “Banner”? It’s generated by a semi-transparent image,
I know that I can achieve the same effect – without the image – by defining a box in the Styles tab of this layer. Check it out and you will that the proper settings are already there. Now, if you were to eliminate to image from that layer, the desired effect would show, as expected, BUT, if I enter the Preview mode or look at the slider live on the site, the banner doesn’t show up. I don’t understand why? Can you help?The reason why I prefer to create without the image (as is now), is because it’s more lightweight. Does this make sense now?
Many thannks
Thanks Rikard. Here we go.
