The subtitles are underneath the logos in the toggles, see toggle 2 from above for example.
Regarding the second link I was talking about the message-box-element with the quote in the header:

„Ein Mensch kann erst der Mensch sein, der er sein will, sobald er sich von seiner Angst zu reden und zu führen frei gemacht hat.“

Using your code, the italic in the subtitles is gone but the font style stills looks different from the main content. The writing in the message box is still bold…

We are pretty sure now that the irregular feeling of the page derives from the content elements which are transforming the font into capital letters or different sizes. Could you tell me with the message-element you see on this subsite how I can hinder it from showing the quote in capital letters?

thank you! You seem to be right – as soon as I deactivated Polylang it worked. Did you hear about problems with enfold and polylang earlier? Can you recommend a multilanguage plugin that works?
I tried some variations in the settings of the plugin. Nothing helped really except of the hook in the box of “URL Informationen für die Standardsprache verstecken” – which means “hide URL info for standard language”. Now this works for now, but I am a bit nervous about what’s happening as soon as I start with the English translation of the pages – maybe then there is the same problem with the English part…?
