Ok, got some indications from sevenspark / ubermenu that I list here for documentation in case other people have the same issue :
Add the following in Enfold quick css :
#header_main_alternate{
display:block !important;
}
.av-burger-menu-main{
display:none !important;
}Best regards,
Jerome
Hi, I’m experiencing the same problem – I have updated WordPress & Enfold & Ubermenu to the latest version – integrated ubermenu following the same tutorial = all is correct except for the mobile version – no burger menu – no menu at all on mobile. Is there a way you can help about that ?
Thanks very much in advance.

Hey Yigit,
You rock !
It’s back to where it was before – so it’s all good now.
Thanks a lot !
— Jerome.No, unfortunately nothing changes. :/
Hi Jordan,
The layout is already ok.
My question is about : how do I insert a text under the logo ?
Look at the website, look at the picture – on the picture there is a text below the logo.
Is that possible to do with Enfold ?
Best regards,
Jerome.Hi Andy,
So I’ve removed the links from the parent menu items. It works (of course).
However, like in my first example, if the parent menu item is a page, it forces us to change it to a custom link with no target and link to the page as a dropdown item.
Some Enfold models such as “construction” are made this way and the drop down does not work with all tablets.
I think you can close the topic, the solution for now being that parent item of a dropdown menu should be a link with no target rather than a page or link if one want it to work on all devices.
Best regards,
— Jerome.Yes, it’s because it was for another website.
Access given as private content.Hi Andy,
I’ve tried refreshing the cache but I still get the problem.
Chrome > Ipad screen > when clicking on the menu it reloads the page and the drop down cannot be accessed.Sorry to bother you again with that – I think I’m going to leave it as it is…
— Jerome.
Hello,
Thaks a lot, it looks better with that code although it creates other gaps.
In the meanwhile, I’ve spotted the same problem on vertical left menu mode.
Check the example site : set your chrome browser to ipad, clic on “l’audition” ou “l’appareillage” = not possible to access the drop down menu.
And not possible in the theme settings to choose the mobile menu for tablets (!)
Here’s the access to the backoffice.
Can you please edit your previous post to hide my customers website name ?
Thanks !
J.Hi Rikard,
I’m posting the link to a screenshot.
If I choose to show the mobile menu on tablets, it create an empty space above the logo area.
When scrolling down the page, the content of the website is seen in this space – not nice.NB : the original problem that on tablets, drop down menu is not accessible is not true on all tablets – it works fine on my ipad2 – why is it ok on some tablets and not others ?
Maybe the theme cannot allow a satisfying option in this case and I should disable all first level menu links that command drop down and place the links in the drop downs ?
Best regards,
— Jerome.
Thanks Rikard,
I’ve tried this solution, but when I do that the “classical” menu bar is not present anymore.
What happens is that on landscape position on a tablet the logo bar stays fixed with the empty menu space above it, and the content is seen scrolling above the menu bar, which is not elegant.
I’m still looking for a way round – probably desactivating the “main link” and reintegrating it in the drop down menu.
— Jerome.
Ok no pb, thanks !
Hello Yigit,
Thanks for the quick answer !
I’ve pasted the code, but it doesn’t act like the menu on the example (no rounded corners, no oblic bars).
http://www.pimpmyteam.fr/
I get the same menu with grey background (?)
And I didn’t get where to set the hover bg color – no such entry in advanced styling (?)
Thanks for some extra info.
— Jerome.Here’s my client website, thaks in advance for your advice !
— Jerome.Hello Rickard,
It works perfect !
Looks so simple once I read your answer.
Thanks a lot !!

Hello,
Thanks a lot for the indications – I think I’ve made some good progress.
Now I have two remaining problems :
– the text i’ve added does not shrink when I scroll down and comes over the menu, unless I choose the option where the logo bar does nit shrink.
– when I test as mobile device, the text comes under the logo instead of disappearing or coming below the logo.Would you have indications for me ?
Thanks,
— Jerome.
Hello,
Yes, I’ve tried the css but the text is always appearing in a line above the logo, not on its side.
My aim is still to have a presentation as in the link I posted in private.
I give it again with access to my back-office. Thanks for your patience.
Hello,
I’ve added the second code (the one for menu below) at the end of the functions.php file in appearance>editor.First point : the text comes first above the Logo, not after (!)
Other point : what’s the best way to proceed so that the file won’t be crushed when an update occurs ?Jerome.

Hello,
Here is the link to my project and another to an exemple that I would like to imitate.
I want to have the logo, then some text, then a button (instead of the shopping cart).
Thanks very much in advance.

April 30, 2016 at 4:31 pm in reply to: Menu above centered logo with boxed option : logo margins + menu position #625068Oops, sorry, I got it : it’s the WP edition bar that influences the logo behaviour – as I work under chrome (!)
I tried with another chrome session, it looks good.
Thanks very much again !!
All this is very usefull to me as I’m setting more customers with enfold theme.April 30, 2016 at 4:28 pm in reply to: Menu above centered logo with boxed option : logo margins + menu position #625067Wow, look like magic !!
Thanks for the blitz answer !
That’s so great !Thre’s just a thing I don’t understand : it’s perfect from perfect with firefox, but in chrome, le logo area is situated too high, partly under the menu, and there’s a white space with the following images…
I’ve tried to tweak the “top:51px” instruction but then it’s under firefox that it won’t work…Browser constraints ?
Tahnks for your help !

April 30, 2016 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Menu above centered logo with boxed option : logo margins + menu position #625053Oh yes, definitively, if you’re willing to help me a bit more, it would look much better.
I’ve now set the website with a background image for the logo area + the logo which is much smaller than previously.
The CSS tweaking needed is :
– take off background image from the menu (menu bckground should be white) ;
– make that the whole logo area (logo + background color img) stays in place and do not disappear under the menu when scrolling down – (I hope that the background img will have a different behaviour than the logo img and will not exceed the right border of the boxed content);
– make that all this looks still nice on smaller screens and smartphones…
Thanks a lot in advance !
— Jérôme.April 29, 2016 at 11:21 pm in reply to: Menu above centered logo with boxed option : logo margins + menu position #624823Hi Josue,
Thanks a lot for your help.
I thought it would be a simple tweak to change the behaviour of that logo, but it appears far more full of consequences… you’re right, if I apply this code, the logo bursts the website on the right side on smaller screens – not acceptable.
I’ve tried to use a cut of that logo + backgroud img, but I have to more issues : the bkg img appears in the menu, and the code to fix the logo area makes the bkg img disappear (?).
I hope that fixing logo for boxed config with menu above will come as an improvement in a future version (!)
Thanks again,
— Jerome.

Thanks a lot for your help, it looks already much better !
I’m still facing one issue with the logo :
– When I scroll down, the logo disappears under the menu with the rest of the page (!) – How to keep the logo fixed under the main menu and only the content of the page would move ?Thanks very much in advance for the additional help.

Hi Yigit,
Thanks a lot for the indications.
No good result with transient cleaner, so I’ve updated the theme manually.
I hope the API key will work sooner or later, I’d really need this to be automated…
Best regards,
