Hi Rikard, thanks for the reply. Yes I have tried clearing the cache several times, but I have not tried leaving the caching plug-in deactivated for a period of time. There are no issues with Google crawling the website as I can see from the search console, the pages are getting crawled regularly. Just wanted to get your help to confirm that there is nothing wrong with the favicon currently set up from the theme’s perspective?
Hi Rikard, thanks for the reply. I’ve updated the theme to the latest version and also waited a few days for Google to recrawl the homepage which I verified on search console to have already occurred 2 days ago. Unfortunately, the Fav Icon on mobile search results is still showing the default WordPress Icon and not the icon which I have set via the enfold theme (icon shows up fine on the browser tabs).
Appreciate your kind assistance to have a closer look on this. Thanks.
Hi Mike, many thanks for this! It works great, except I need the custom css to be applied only on a certain page. When I insert the the page id css, it seems to break the code. Can you help advise how I should insert the page id into the custom css? .page-id-158578
