This reply has been marked as private.Hi there,
Sorry for popping in, it is just that I’d like to know how can I achieve the same but in a portfolio item, not a page…Thanks a lot!
Hi Vicroria, thanks for reaching in. Yes. here’s a link and also an admin temp access in case you need to take a look inside.
The thing is that when I want the english wording in green+italic+bold (to somehow mimic the spanish wording blocks) it overrides the green color and makes the italic+bold in black. I guess it has to be with the [strong] tag which is set to black by default.
I would like to override it but not as a global behaviour but just where needed…Hence my guess (maybe wrong) to have a quick custom CSS to achieve such thing…
Thanks in advance!

December 14, 2015 at 11:07 am in reply to: Different Footer+socket layout in blog than in the rest of the pages #552088Yep, thanks. That causes no effect, however I find it to be something related with Firefox+screen resolution/size.
The main machine in which the site is beign made is iMac 27″ at max resolution while on other testing machines (two iMac 21″ & laptop) it renders ok…Thanks!
Although this thread is quite some months long, it has pretty much served me since I was also looking for exactly that.
Great support forum! Thanks! :)Hi Yigit!
Never mind about the button. It somehow now is working as expected. I started the page from scratch just last night and it kinda worked.
Maybe it is a browser caching issue or something…
I’m now goint to put it in another page, so I can hope it to work as expected…Thanks anyway! :)
Hi Andy!
Here you are,
BTW, can the tabs also be customized somehow?
It would also be nice to have them in the same colour as the colour section with white borders and text…Thanks! :)
Hi!
I have just been trying and it seemed to be a cache issue, so now it seems to be working ok.
Both WP and theme versions are up to date anyway.
However I’m noticing that most of the times (not always but a good number of times) the previews do not show changes unless I update and publish first. It might well be a minor issue, maybe it has to be with the browser’s memory or the server’s or the like. Nothing I can’t bear anyway, but just thought it was worth to note…Happy weekend! :)
Thanks! We’re already working on it!
Thanks!

Newbie to WP+ENDFOLD #213831I see. So, if I want to make a portfolio page like http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/portfolio-3-column/?skin=Splash%20Red
or a “portfolio area” like http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/?skin=Splash%20Red (under the “Showcasing your work…”) I’d better use a portfolio grid, but I can show any of the “potfolio items” via a link in the text in a post page or whatever other method whenever I need to…Now I have done some more testing and already get the site showing portfolio items as I want. A couple of days more and I’ll be just mastering that! ;)
Thanks for the answers Dude and Devin!
January 22, 2014 at 12:24 pm in reply to: Setting up Portfolios in ENDFOLD. Newbie to WP+ENDFOLD #213277I think I’m seeing the light now. So it could be said that the “portfolio grid” is like a “pf manager” that can sit in any page/anywhere in the page as needed and as long as you have pf items (that is obvious) and categories created, is it?
Correct me if I’m wrong: is this mandatory to have such /portfolio/ page published (not just saved as draft) and the correspondant menu built for it to work properly?Still working on it, thanks!
January 22, 2014 at 2:34 am in reply to: Setting up Portfolios in ENDFOLD. Newbie to WP+ENDFOLD #213135Uh, sorry for the typos. Now at home on the iPad not the studio ;)
January 22, 2014 at 2:15 am in reply to: Setting up Portfolios in ENDFOLD. Newbie to WP+ENDFOLD #213117ok, I now get the individual portfolio items. In fact I’ve just created some.
Now I guess I have to set up a /portfolio/ page and link some of the relevant elements to its counterparts (portfolio items). Am I right?Another thing. I dont get when or where to use and how the “portfolio grid” works. I put a “portfolio grid” in a -say- test page and all I can do is select categories and columns, sizes, links, etc. but now that I have those “portfolio items” set with the featured image I don’t know what to do with this “portfolio grid” I just don’t get it… It seems the “grid” –if any– cannot be “filled” cos in fact there’s no grid to fill… I’m for sure missing something.
Then there is the Ajax porfolio, but since I dont plan to use it right now… however in my tests I didnt get it to wrok or to show anything at all…
Glad if you can light me on this topics…January 21, 2014 at 9:33 pm in reply to: Setting up Portfolios in ENDFOLD. Newbie to WP+ENDFOLD #212964Hi Devin!
Yes, I remember to have set a featured image in one of my testings and it kind of showed up but this point is also a little bit confusing to me, I mean, how does that isolated image works? Is it just kind of a thumbnail or it is something more relevant?…
The thing is that I can not clearly see what the term “portfolio items” refers to. I mean, well, I can get to know what they are for –showcasing portfolios– but I don’t get how my intended “parent-service” falls into this.
Do I have to set up different portfolios and then “fill” them with content? How? Where? In the /pages/ section? In the same /portfolio items/ section?
And once set, do I manually build the individual items to show like the demo site, don’t I? (http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/slider-two-third/)
I kind of like the portfolio
I’m sorry this answer is messing the whole thing up. It’s just that unlike most of the other sections of the editor this portfolio thing is the one that is bringing me down… ;)Thanks!
