Please try now.
Here you go…
This site is still in dev so feel free to do what you need. Just please don’t destroy anything :)
Thanks. I think I’ll leave it indented like it is.
That worked. Kind of. The bullet image doesn’t overlap the text, but it’s also indented right of the text above it. Shouldn’t the bullet be aligned with the paragraph above?
We just noticed this issue recently. We built this site a couple years ago. Did something change in a recent update to affect the bullet position?
Thanks for getting to this so quickly!
Awesome! That worked! I didn’t include the position statement in my attempts to fix it. That was key.
Thanks for the response. I think I’ll leave it as is for now. I added a plugin that puts a Pinterest “save” button on the image I want shared to Pinterest so I think people are more likely to use that anyway.
Everything I’ve read says long portrait images perform up to 70% better on Pinterest than wide landscape images. This would be a nice feature to add in a future release of Enfold.
August 23, 2016 at 3:01 pm in reply to: Plugin for Facebook conversion tracking pixel on Enfold themed site #676459I added the conversion script to a codeblock at the bottom of the page and it works fine now. It took facebook about 10 minutes to show the conversion so I wasted time thinking it wasn’t working when it was.
August 22, 2016 at 12:01 am in reply to: Plugin for Facebook conversion tracking pixel on Enfold themed site #675459This doesn’t appear to work. It inserts the conversion pixel in an odd location not wrapped by script tags.
Looks like that worked. However, deactivating the plugins worked for a while but then the issue came back.
Thanks for your help. I would have never figured that one out on my own.
Please refer to earlier posts. We’ve already tried the plugin route and it worked briefly but the issues came back. I just updated the theme to the latest version and the issue is still there in Chrome but it still works fine in Safari. I’m also using a Macbook Pro if that matters.
I’ve launched 3 more sites using Enfold since this one without issue.
Done. Sorry about that.
Sorry. Thought we got hacked so I reset all the passwords.
This issue is back again. Nothing changed on the site and it only happens in chrome. It works fine in Safari and the front end looks fine in both browsers. Am I the only one seeing this issue?
It fixed most of it. The left nav on the enfold theme setup page and the plugins page were still not displaying correctly. So I changed the name of each plugin directory separately. That fixed it. Then I changed each plugin directory back one at a time and tested it, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. Everything appears to be working…for now. This is an odd one.
I manually deactivated all of the plugins through the wp admin, but that didn’t fix it.
Changing the plugins directory name, then changing it back fixed it.
Very odd. Thanks for the idea.
Woops. Minor detail…
I haven’t tried Firefox, but it does work in Safari.
Moving the images to a layer instead of the background worked. I also had the layer container set too narrow on the general settings. I also resized the images to be the exact dimensions set in general settings for the width and height. Everything is displaying correctly now. Thanks.
I received a notice that there’s an update to the LayerSlider WP. I downloaded and installed it, but it didn’t fix any of my issues. We’re supposed to launch this site today, but I can’t launch it with these issues.
I’m using Google Chrome, not IE.
The 2nd image in the slider is zoomed in and shouldn’t be. It should look like this:
http://69.16.233.254/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Interior-House-1.jpegThe 3rd image doesn’t exist on my server and I have no idea where it’s coming from. It should be this one:
http://69.16.233.254/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Kitchen1.jpg. This image shows in the thumbnail in the editor, but not the preview or the slider.I’m having lots of issues with the LayerSlider WP plugin. I already bought the license for it thinking that might fix the issues but it didn’t.
Issue 1: One of my images is zoomed in to about 200%, meaning you can only see a very small part of the image. It’s like this in the preview as well as on the page with the slider.
Issue 2: One of my images displays the correct image in the layer thumbnail, but it displays a completely different image in the preview and on the page with the slider. I’ve never seen the image that’s being displayed before. It’s not on the site. How is this possible?
This website is in dev so I’ll share the temp domain in private. I’ve spent HOURS on this plugin. I don’t recommend including it with the theme if it’s so difficult to configure and use. I would have looked for a better one but assumed since you guys recommended it, it must be good, but it’s not.
Thanks.
That worked. I thought I had the latest version. Sorry about that.
Thanks. This should be fun. How can people who are paid to build WordPress websites not know how to use a child theme? So frustrating.
