December 23, 2016 at 5:52 am in reply to: How about a professional looking Mega Menu? Resized and more condensed? #727811
Stripped it section by section in the CSS. Can’t figure this out.
Weird. How about removing it from Quck Field and adding it to the child-theme’s CSS. Tell me what happens then?
OK thank you
so according to the client, this is still not rendering correctly on their 5sDoesn’t work…

No luck here. It’s been this way for a while too. Only now addressing it.
Hi Andy, I am not seeing anything like that defined in my style sheet
Not sure that fixed it.
Thaknms Andy…no change.
All I would like to do it triple the size of the text here on mobile…
Not sure what I am missing….Thanks!
Nikko, so NOT in my child-theme CSS?
Yigit.
It’s set for IPad which works.
/* Portrait and Landscape */
@media only screen
and (min-device-width: 768px)
and (max-device-width: 1024px)
and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2) {It’s also set for the iPhone 6 and 5s which does not work.
/* Portrait and Landscape */
@media only screen
and (min-device-width: 320px)
and (max-device-width: 568px)
and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2) {/* Portrait and Landscape */
@media only screen
and (min-device-width: 375px)
and (max-device-width: 667px)
and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2) {The Caption title is still tiny.
Although the ‘small business’ line does render.Doesn’t seem to work on mobile…
.JS h2.avia-caption-title { font-size:42px!important;}
Nikko, this is a link to what they’re seeing…
And this is a direct quote from them…
“We can’t see the bottom of the images in the slideshow or the arrow indicating down unless we scroll down.”
They are VERY picky. So this has been a challenge. Thanks
Doublecheck again for me please
That’s WP Rocket’s whacky pkugin for you.
I just deactivated it. Thank you.Nikko, the client wants the categories at the bottom of the individial posts. Not just tags … any thoughts?
Disregard please… mt browser wasn’t caching correctly. Thank you :)
no change yet.
Nikko, this is fantastic….thank you!! Looks great!
My only comment…looking at the style, the line-height is set to 1.0em for the tags, yet there appears to be a break of some sort that is leaving the line-spacing for the tags pretty large. How can I tighten that up? See the link, and the tags at the base of the post. Thank you.Nikko, thanks! The login remains the same. See below …
Nikko, thank you. I have made a mental note of this.
For now,I moved forward with using the states abbreviations to shorten the titles.Thanks
Hmm, yeah in incognito it appears to be just fine. After a cleared cache all is well. False alarm on my end. Thanks for the help!
Nikko…maybe the web developer tools in FireFox and Chrome are not efficient? I use those tools to test devices of various options. Let me know if they work for you at all….https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/responsive-web-design-tes/objclahbaimlfnbjdeobicmmlnbhamkg?hl=en
At any rate, this is what I am seeing… see links below….Thank you
Baslilis, while I am not about using a dozen plugins on a website, this seems efficient for now. Javascript is added to every page that IDs any link that doesn’t include the primary domain of the site and automatically launches it in a new window. The link you sent above was a forum-disaster. Wasn’t going ot dig through all that :) Thanks!
Hi Ismael, the ID is defined here (see link)
And within the slide settings where there’s the <h1> and the <p> the scale is defined to accommodate ..I cannot go any smaller on the h1, it will wrap. Does that make sense or? I may just <br> it where the text falls off the page? I just don’t understand why it doesn’t automatically word wrap on the phonenevermind
Look at this Nikko.
I added a class to the layerslider to reduce the font-size, but even then … see what’s happening with the text? It gets cut off.
I don’t want to reduce this any further in size.Nikko, it seems to work fine on my end thank you.
Ok the info section I have the class mytable added to each 1/2 column with the custom CSS within the style. Take a look,,, thanks.
Nikko, should something have changed?
Hi Vinay, thank you.,
I am not following precisely what was done though. -
