When you make posts with the Advanced Layout Builder you need to enable the excerpt field in the screen options and fill out those boxes.

After uploading the logo, choose the image size before clicking “Use Image as logo”. You can select the Full Size.

Are you running any custom css that may be incorrect? This can sometimes interfere with styles being recognized.
