If you can set up a local staging environment you can install the demo there, activate debug mode an copy the shortcodes to the live site.

There seems to be something in there that actually changes the tab text to the exact same color as the background. So the text is there, but the color is changing to a brown color. If you have any custom css, I would look to see if perhaps it is formatted incorrectly.

If you go into your user preferences and uncheck the ‘proofreading’ options, the visual editor should reappear.

This is not available out of the box from Enfold, but it is possible perhaps a combination of a plugin and css will work for you.
