That could very well be via a hack or workaround not available in Enfold. To the site/page in question so we can see the animation you are looking to achieve.

I sounds like the css provided would have to be adjusted based on media queries. Essentially, the % would have to be altered to fit the specific screen range. https://www.emailonacid.com/blog/article/email-development/emailology_media_queries_demystified_min-width_and_max-width

No those updates will are saved to the DB. This is just a theme update. As always though, please be sure to back-up everything before making such change.
