Can you provide a link to one of the category pages? If WordPress produces a unique id for them then they can be hidden via css.

Yes, Enfold is multisite compatible. You can configure them separately, but you need a new license for each instance of usage.

There is no default slider to accomplish this. You may need to get creative such as editing the side by side images in photoshop and then adding them to the slider.

Please go to Appearance > Menus and click Screen Options and check “Description” and edit your text in description field – http://i.imgur.com/mjg0bd5.png

For #2:

You can set a custom link from the same menu area.
