1) Yes you can create minimal post styles similar to the link you sent.
2) Enfold is highly customize-able. While some things will go beyond the scope of support here in the forums, we do offer freelance services that can help you do much more with Enfold that may not be available out of the box.

You would need to do a little theme modification to add top banners. But this is possible via the use of WordPress hooks.
Also, Enfold requires an individual license per instance of the site.

That code should work for the menu color. Please add it to the very top of quick css so it runs first. Also clear your your cache a few times over.
