Only other option would be to not use the partner element, but actual columns and then adjust then remove any default padding and add a border via css.

Yes, within the Enfold options panel, there is an option to import all demos that you see on the site.

If you are able to put the logos into 270.95×180 containers using an image editor you should be able to achieve the look you want. With the logos all being square images, enlarging or resizing to reduce the space distorts the image terribly.
