  • in reply to: Override footer color on posts etc? #830775

I’m good I think Jordan, the whole page was a light blue/grey (#e6eaed) before so I was hiding the footer in the layout options.
Just glad I didn’t break the site with my hit and miss CSS!

in reply to: Override footer color on posts etc? #830713

    Thanks Jordan,
I was just worried that it might’ve over-written something more important.

in reply to: Override footer color on posts etc? #830700

I may have figured it out with a bit of trail and error.

Would someone in support mind just checking this bit of code for me please?

    div#footer.container_wrap.footer_color {background-color: #181f38; }

All the CSS I know has all been picked up from here, so I don’t really know what I’m doing!

    Cheers.

Great. Thanks for your continued A1 support!

    Hi Yigit
Thanks for the offer, but I don’t want to mess around with another clients website when it’s live.
Maybe I should wait until I’m developing this one and post back with another request.

This was what I was trying to achieve.

    Hi Yigit,
I tried that and with !important and it doesn’t work.
Sorry to be such a pain, I thought this would be an easy one!

in reply to: Round Corners on Masonry Grid? #829557

Thanks Nikko, but that’s not working.

in reply to: Round Corners on Masonry Grid? #829516

    Hi Yigit,

I did post a reply but for some reason it didn’t display.

This question is for a site that I am visualising, but I am testing on another person’s website, so any changes I make can only be temporary.
I have posted a link to the site that I am experimenting on.

Your code didn’t work though. I was experimenting by viewing the code in the browser and I found that adding a radius to figure.av-inner-masonry.main_color worked, but on mouseover the corners returned to being square until the rollover complete it’s animation.

in reply to: Mobile Menu – Sub Menu Items. Collapsable? #817912

    Thanks Yigit.

This kind of works. The top level page which expands the sub menu doesn’t work now, it only works as a toggle for the submenu.
I guess I could duplicate it to the top of the menu, but I wouldn’t want this to show in the desktop version.

Also, the a “Tyre Brands” sub-menu in the “Tyres” menu is automatically expanded when you click on “Tyres”. This isn’t a massive issue though, I’m just happy that the menu is now better in mobile.

One last thing – the sticky sub menus aren’t sticky on mobiles. Is this possible.

Thanks, as usual, for your help.

in reply to: Mobile Menu – Sub Menu Items. Collapsable? #817882

    Hey @Yigit,

Yes, no problem. But can you figure out why the mega menu isn’t expanding when clicked?
Is there anything I can do with CSS?

    Thanks

in reply to: Mobile Menu – Sub Menu Items. Collapsable? #817856

    Hi Victoria,
I don’t see “main menu” in my version of Enfold “4.0.7”.

I did find something similar under “header” but the mega menu “services” doesn’t expand.

Please have a look at let me know.

    Thanks!

in reply to: Hide Empty Cells in Heading row on Mobile #817718

    Hi Ismael,

Yes, I showed the client the two options (scaled to screen and scrollable) and he preferred scrollable.

    John

in reply to: Mobile Menu – Sub Menu Items. Collapsable? #817219

    Hi Rikard,

No not exactly. In the mobile menu, you see where, for example, it says “Our Services” with the list of services underneath?
The client has asked for those not to be visible until you click on “Our Services”.

Basically, he doesn’t want any of the sub-menus visible in the mobile menu until you click on them. Essentially how the desktop works.
So clicking the menu icon in mobile would, initially, only display the 9 initial top level items.

    Hope this makes sense.

in reply to: Tab Section – Alignment off on mobile, #811649

    Hi,
I’ve replaced the page with a new version with a full width sub menu and anchor links.

I did, however, get to the bottom of the problem and thought it would be useful to share.
There was a table in one of the tabs which was set up as “make entire table scrollable” in the Responsive Styling option.
I just changed it to “adjust table to screen size” and it fixed the problem!

in reply to: Tab Section – Alignment off on mobile, #811421

    Hi Basilis,
I’m not sure what you mean by “text been applied to the text”, but 99% of the text came from their existing website.

    Cheers.

    Hi Sarah,
    Sure, I’ll leave it below.

in reply to: Tab Section – Alignment off on mobile, #809706

    Hi John,

The only code I think I have is some <b> tags in the table, surely it can’t be them?
The tab section is fine in landscape mode on the phone, it’s just portrait mode when it looks like the screen grab I sent.

in reply to: Strange issue with Tab Sections #809035

    Hey,
Just heard back from the developer. The Superflu plugin has a custom CSS section and there was a rogue # in there.
Deleting that seems to have fixed the problem.

    Thanks again!

in reply to: Overlay on masonry doesn't line up #809034

Thanks Yigit, all I’m getting is that it slightly increases the size of the text.

in reply to: Overlay on masonry doesn't line up #807591

    Thanks Yigit,
I tried that, but it doesn’t help.

I was doing a little digging around and changing the Main Content Background Colour to black instead of white eliminated the problem temporarily.
Sadly, I can’t keep it like this because it won’t work with the rest of the site.

Thanks for getting back to me though,

    Cheers.

in reply to: Overlay on masonry doesn't line up #806874

I’m on a 27″ iMac running 10.8.5 and Safari 6.2.8 – not the most up to date setup, but I have noticed the same issue in Safari on my own personal machine at home, which is newer machine running the latest stuff.

It’s not a huge problem, it just feels like a bit of a blemish on the site if you know what I mean.

in reply to: Overlay on masonry doesn't line up #806800

    Hey Rikard,

I’m seeing it in Safari, and to a lesser extent Firefox,

    Cheers

in reply to: Missing Border below extra info section #805972

    Hi,
Sorry, I figured it out in the end. It was in header > header style > minimal. I changed it to default and then added this code to get rid of the underline.

    .home .current-menu-item > a > .avia-menu-fx { display: none !important; }

    Thanks anyway :)

in reply to: Strange issue with Tab Sections #805034

    Thanks Nikko,

I turned it off, even though the site is now live, and it seemed to be working fine.

I have written to the developer to ask if they can help,

Thanks for your help and patience.

in reply to: Strange issue with Tab Sections #803802

    Hi Nikko,
The admin access I provided above should be working.

    Thanks

in reply to: Strange issue with Tab Sections #803062

    Hi Nikko,

I’ve done that, and rebooted our rooter. Also tried it on Safari, Chrome and Firefox. It still won’t work properly.

This is the problem I was also experiencing.

The hosting company is planning on moving it from the dev site to the live site today.

    Cheers

Also, another bit of info for you, the white arrow pointing up is always white when loading the page, it changes to grey if the page is working property. This was not the case in the previous version of enfold.

in reply to: Strange issue with Tab Sections #803030

    Hi Nikko,

Sadly it’s not working still. The first tab section works, but clicking on the titles of the other tab section does nothing except change the URL.

    /#1-CAMPAIGNS /#2-ADVERTISING /#3-NEWSLETTERS and so on.

I am finding it difficult to reliably replicate, but when I look at the error console it is saying
