how will this solve the cURL problems?

Okay, so the loading time is reduced by a factor 4 due to a malfunction in the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin. The side is loaded twice(?!). But the problem with the connection timed out still remains, even after disabling the plugin.

I contacted the hosting company and they simply said “Not our fault, it is the website his fold” so yeah.. Is it?
