Now, about the thumbnail size, try the following:

1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change the thumbnail image size (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.

Dashboard -> Settings -> Discussion -> Default article settings checkbox “Allow people to post comments on new articles”

You can enable the custom Class following this article: kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/ and give an exclusive class to each box, so, you`ll need to add a custom CSS code at Enfold Theme Options > General Styling > Quick CSS like this:

.yourCustomClass {
  background-image: url('image link here');
  width: 100%;
  display: block;
  background-size: cover;
}

There’re some plugins out there (like http://wordpress.org/plugins/hungryfeed/ or http://wordpress.org/plugins/embed-rss/ ) which may help you or you can try to hire a freelancer who can help you to implement a custom solution though this link: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
