I think that is easier to change the images with background-image. So, upload all these icons in the color that you want to the default color and upload the images with the hover color. This is a plugin conflict problem because I disabled all the plugins and this link disappeared. So, to find the plugin that`s causing this problem, just disable all the plugins and enable one by one (refreshing the page to see when this link will be removed).

Ensure that the front page hasn’t another code that
s conflicting with the Ismael code because its strange the code works normally in the test page and stop to work in your front page. – Clear your cache is an option to try too.Best regards,

When in the Menus manager go to the top right of your screen. There should be a little tab labeled “Screen Options” and when clicked it will drop down a panel of options for that page. Just go to the checkbox for Description and select it so that you will have that option visible when expanding the menu item.
