Hi Mike,
I think you’ve misunderstood the issue here. It’s not that I can’t checked xx amount of images and try to delele them. It’s that in actuality, the tool still only deletes a maximum of 20 images at a time, no matter if I’ve 200 or 3000.
This seems very wrong but I can’t figure out where to change it to a higher number.
Kindly,
JoakimHi Again,
This problem is due to WordPress totally sucky Media Library database management tool.
Despite giving me the option to (theoretically) delete as many images as I want (thousands even), in reality, the database won’t actually allow me to delete more than a few images at a time. It’s ridiculous.
I’ve tried this dozens of times now and I really need some solid advice, not forum discussions or plugin suggestions. What is the workaround this clearly broken tool?
There just has to be tens of thousands of WordPress users that have had similar experiences with a seemingly uncontrollable swelling Media Library.
Please help!
I will gladly give access to my two sites.
Kindly,
JoakimHi Ismael,
Is there a way I can just bulk delete more than 50 images at a time via the normal Media Library WP interface procedure and without using a third-party plugin? I have several thousand images and it takes way too long to keep having to press “load more” in order to delete them. There should be a way to delete by highlighting more than just 50 at a time…no?
Kindly,
JoakimYes! That did the trick. Thanks, Mike. And thanks to everybody for trying to solve this.
Kindly,
JoakimHi Rikard,
Nope, that didn’t fix it either.
Kindly,
JoakimHi Rikard,
Thanks, but the bottom line is still there…even after emptied cache.
Kindly,
JoakimHi Rikard!
Thanks. One of the horizontal lines (top one) was removed by your code. Is there a way to remove both?
Kindly,
