Hi Ismael,
Thanks a lot for this, as it’s set up on a multi-site the easiest option was for me to change the .htaccess file and the header fonts all seem to work as I’d like now.
One last thing, the menu fonts for Home | About | Services | Contact are still in the wrong font. Is this because the code below is wrong?
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, .menu-item a {
font-family: kgallofme-webfont;
}Thanks for your help.
JoeHi Ismael,
Thanks for getting back to me, that’s interesting. The css code is pasted in to the Quick css box in the admin section of Enfold.
Do you think the css below is wrong or not applying?
@font-face {
font-family: ‘kgallofme-webfont’;
src: url(‘https://gettopageone.com/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/kgallofme-webfont.woff2’) format(‘woff2’),
url(‘https://gettopageone.com/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/kgallofme-webfont.woff’) format(‘woff’);
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, .menu-item a {
font-family: kgallofme-webfont;
}Thanks
JoeHello again, actually please could you check this again?
The web site here is now live and secure.
The css is below and link to the font is on a secure site.
Everything seems ok now but the font still doesn’t work? Any other ideas?
Thanks@font-face {
font-family: ‘kgallofme-webfont’;

font-style: normal;
}h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, .menu-item a {
font-family: kgallofme-webfont;
}Hi Rikard,
Thanks for that information, it’s really helpful.
The sites will eventually have SSL certificates so I will wait until then to see if the font applies.
Thanks for your help.
JoeThanks Rikard,
I have moved the fonts and the URL to the font seems ok now and I’ve changed my css to this however the font still doesn’t see to load on the webpage. Any ideas? Thanks.@font-face {
font-family: ‘kgallofme-webfont’;
src: url(‘http://engageyourbrand.co.uk/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/fonts/kgallofme-webfont.woff2’) format(‘woff2’),
url(‘http://engageyourbrand.co.uk/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/fonts/kgallofme-webfont.woff’) format(‘woff’);
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, .menu-item a {
font-family: kgallofme-webfont;
}Thanks Rikard,
Ok, so I’ve deleted the plugin and css and started again but I can’t get it to work, maybe you can check what I’ve done and let me know what I might have done wrong?
I converted the kgallofme.ttf font with font squirrel and this created woff and woff2 files so I uploaded these to a ‘fonts’ folded in a child theme on my main site (link below). I then added the following code to the top of the Quick css box in the enfold general styling section.
@font-face {
font-family: ‘kgallofme-webfont’;
src: url(‘https://gettopageone.com/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/fonts/kgallofme-webfont.woff2’) format(‘woff2’),
url(‘https://gettopageone.com/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/fonts/kgallofme-webfont.woff’) format(‘woff’);
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, .menu-item a {
font-family: kgallofme-webfont.ttf!important;
}Hopefully this is somewhere close and an easy fix?
Thank you.Hi Rikard,
I downloaded the font on to my machine as a ttf then uploaded it from my desktop via the plugin in the wordpress admin section. I copied and pasted the css along with the font name so I assume it was done correctly as it worked ok after I’d done this but if it’ not working your end or on my phone then it must be working locally and thats not what I’m after.What is the correct way to do this using css? I can delete the plugin and css I used and try again using a different method if you know a better way?
Thanks
JoeThank you Rikard, it works in an incognito window via Chrome so I’ll assume it works for all browsers now.
ThanksHi Rikard,
Yes I placed it at the top and at the bottom and I have also just tried to regenerate the files in the performance section but it didn’t seem to work.
Any ideas?
ThanksHi,
I tried the CSS but I’m afraid that didn’t work.
ThanksHi Jordan,
It’s in the footer of each page, 2nd column, I’ve attached a screen shot of 2 email addresses cut off.
Can you see the issue your end?
ThanksThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Nikko,
That is great thank you :-)
I will look into that soon, before I do, is it easy to remove the old demo import (the one that hasn’t worked).
Or do I just import the demo again – will it overwrite the old one?
Thanks
JoeHi Basilis,
It is set to 128mb and the max_upload is 64mb.
Does that help?
Thanks
JoeThank you, that seems to have worked! :)
Thank you, that worked :)
Thanks for your help, everything has been resolved now.
All the best
JoeHello
For security I’ve had to remove the temp user as there are now some server issues. Did you have chance to take a look?
I noticed that when I uploaded Enfold to a different server it showed the latest version so this may be something to to with the server I’m using.
ThanksThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Rikard,
Yes it’s definitely 4.1.2, see screenshot in the private content box.
I’ve just re-downloaded the Enfold theme again from Themeforest, uploaded via FTP overwriting the previous enfold folder and refreshed my page, it’s still showing as 4.1.2. I am using a child theme so not sure that matters? If not, please could you send me the latest version asap to my email address in the private message?
Thanks
JoeHi Yigit, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. It looks like I’m using 4.1.2.
Do you know where can I get the latest version from – I downloaded 4.1.2 from my themeforest account only an hour or so ago so assumed this would be the latest version?
Thanks
