Hi Nikko,
That post really doesn’t help me either. I found one post that had some code to add to the functions.php file for getting the Houzz icon to show up in the right header bar, but when I try to do it, it won’t let me and says there is an error.Surely there is an easy way to add the Houzz icon with the rest of the social icons in the top right of the site. Can you please advise?
My private login info is included if you need.
Thank you!Hi Basilis,
Thank you for that link, but that’s not my issue. I want to add a Houzz link to the header bar at the top of my page and at the bottom where the other social media icons are, and there’s no choice in the back end to do it.
Thank you!!
JustineThank you. It’s all fixed. Apparently was the cache on the security plugin.
Hi Rikard,
No, unfortunately the problem isn’t fixed. It took two whole days for those changes to take effect. In fact, I made some changes earlier today to http://townleypoolandspa.com/specials/, and they still aren’t showing up. If you go to the page and see two women splashing in a pool, that is the old content. New content has people in a hot tub.Can you please advise as to why some pages are taking days to update and some aren’t? Feel free to use the login info if you need to look at anything.
Thank you,
JustineCan someone please help? Thank you!!
I too am having the same problem. I have five sites running Enfold, and all of the produce this when trying to update: An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.
Please help!
Hi Rikard,
That is what I want to see but am not. I tried it in multiple browsers, devices and off-site locations. I just deactivated Hummingbird, and apparently that was the problem. Sorry to bother you!
Thank you,
JustineHi Rikard,
The correct one is the one labeled “firefox” of the nighttime hot tub scene. I am not seeing that on any computer or phone. In addition, on the blog, I’m not seeing any posts after June 14, although I can direct link to them. Any thoughts?
Thank you
JustineHi Mike,
This is getting weirder by the minute! I have tried it on four machines where I live, and I’ve had two folks try it in different states. We are all coming up with the messed up page that I included links to in an earlier post. Any other ideas?
Thank you!
JustineHi Rikard,
It seems that the problem in Chrome and IE is on Windows machines. The page looks just fine, and the prices show up on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Can you please help as the page isn’t working correctly in Chrome or Edge on a Windows machine? I sent login info earlier. Thanks so much!
JustineHi Rikard,
Your screen shot is exactly what that page looks like in Firefox and Safari and Chrome on my phone.Below are screen shots of what the page looks like in Chrome on the desktop and in edge. The page is wonky, and the prices aren’t showing up for a couple of models.
I’ve reinstalled the theme, uninstalled and installed plugins all to no avail. Can you please help? Thank you!!!

http://nightingaledesigns.com/photo-2.jpgHi Rikard,
We’ve done that in Chrome and Edge, and the prices still don’t show on just a few models that were recently added (i.e. Prism). We can see the prices okay on an iPhone in Chrome.Second problem that is new to today is that the page itself is completely messed up in Chrome and Edge. No other pages are affected, just this one. Would you please be able to take a second look? Thank you!
JustineThank you, Dude. That worked.
Thank you so much, Mike!
Hi Nikko,
I am back again with a similar problem when trying to do this latest update, 4.3.1. When I update Enfold, it disappears from the WordPress backend, and the website doesn’t show up. It says stylesheet missing. Any reason why updating Enfold isn’t working for me twice now? Any help you can provide this time around would be much appreciated. Thank you – private info included.- This reply was modified 6 years, 6 months ago by jnightingale.
Hi again,
I went in and noticed that some of the settings in the partner element were changed after the update. I adjusted them back and all is fine.
Thanks and have a super weekend!Hi Victoria,
I just updated another site to 4.3.1, and their partner logos just tripled in size as well. So, now that’s two sites where those logos got huge. Here’s a screenshot: https://fiestapoolsandspas.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/logos.jpgI’ve included logins for both sites in the private area.
Thanks!Hi Nikko,
So are you going to try and install ninja forms for me manually with the ftp information I gave you? Thank you!
JustineHi Nikko,
Thank you for the fix! Now, though, my Ninja forms have disappeared. When I try to install it fresh, it says it fails, but it isn’t listed in plugins anymore after the update, and the forms aren’t working. Please advise?
Thanks,
JustineHi Nikko, or anyone else out there… Have you been able to check on my issue again? I’d really like to get this fixed!
Thanks so much,
JustineHi! Looks like others who posted in my thread got things fixed… Does anyone have a chance to look into my issue. You’ve got login creds and ftp access. Thanks so much!
JustineThanks – info in private content.
Hi Rikard,
You have admin rights now. Thanks!Hi,
The version it says the site is running is 5.6.30. Can you please tell me how to solve this because at this point, I am too nervous to try and update Enfold again. Perhaps you can use my private info to go in and take a look at why when I update it, the site turns to a white screen. It seems like others in the forums are having this trouble with the latest update, too. Thanks so much!
JustineHi Rikard,
How would I find that out? Thank you.The only plugins I am using are Akismet, Insert Headers and Footers, Ninja Forms and Yoast. I had been using all of them before this started happening. Thoughts?
Thank you.Hi Rikard,
I did that, and it still went into maintenance mode and the Enfold update and plugin updates failed.Hi John,
Thank you for the response, but that has nothing to do with my problem. My problem is that I am unable to update plugins or the theme without it causing major problems. Godaddy says it’s a problem with the theme. I am wondering if anyone has come across this problem with the theme or with the theme in conjunction with the plugins on the site.
When I try to update anything, the site goes into maintenance mode. According to Godaddy it also creates a dot maintenance file on the server (as I guess it’s supposed to when updating), but it never goes away.
Somehow I need to get past this. Please – someone help! Thank you!
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at arvidsons.com?Do you want login info for Fiesta Pools and Spas as their mobile menu is also down? I have another site that I haven’t updated Enfold yet – should I wait since there’s the mobile menu problem?Any assistance with these two sites is much appreciated as our traffic has dropped significantly since the mobile menus aren’t working.
Thank you!
JustineAnyone out there? I have two sites with mobile menus down. Thx!
