URL is http://www.kimberfire.com. As mentioned, the current live theme is a previous version without issues but it will allow you to see location of horizontal rulers and testimonials. No changes were made after this except for installing the new theme and then the issues mentioned arise.
Thanks you!
Thanks Devin! I will update in the coming days when I have a chance and then I’ll come back here to update.
Best,

Hi Josue,
Thank you for checking in! I believe it is fine now, I just used the original css #top textarea as I found this is the one that worked on all browsers. It’s not localized to the chat box though but doesn’t seem to be messing anything up. If you feel that it’s ok to make this global adjustment and I’m not missing anything then this is resolved.
Best,
JonathanWorked great, thank you Yigit!
Worked perfectly! Thanks Josue!
The plugin author told me the following. What’s the best way to correct this? Thanks!
In one of your theme’s stylesheet, you have
body div .first, body div .no_margin { margin-left: 0; }This is applied to the first radio button items.
I searched the forums and found this advice – seemed to work! If this is what you would recommend and it doesn’t affect anything else I wouldn’t want then this should be good now =)
Modify enfold/js/avia.js. Open up the file and replace
$.avia_utilities.avia_ajax_call = function(container) {with
$.avia_utilities.avia_ajax_call = function(container) { $('div,a,img').removeAttr('title');This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private. Thanks aribann, truly appreciate the insights!
No need to apologize, I appreciate the feedback. What do you mean by the “contact form is off”?
Hi Aribann,
I truly appreciate your honest opinion – this is something I’ve been wondering myself but I would like to have a drip campaign. Two questions on this I’d love your further input on if possible:
1) Is it just the text I’ve chosen or is it the whole idea of the popup?
2) Would it be any better if it popped up from a widget like the chat widget rather than the lightbox style it currently is?Also, regarding the chat box widget – you said it works, but is the name and email boxes shorter than the notes box or are they all the same height and very tall?
Thank you!
Best,
JonathanThat’s so weird, version 6.1.2. Confirmed that it looks wrong in both safari and firefox =(
Unfortunately it’s still not working, even with the new code. I’m still seeing it as per below:

Thanks for helping me look into this.
Hi Josue,
The name and email text boxes are much taller than they are supposed to be by default. Olark support told me it is due to the following code in the theme css:
#top textarea { min-height: 60px; line-height: 1.5em; }I’d like to remove those rules just for the chat box if possible.
Thanks!
Best,
JonathanActually, doesn’t seem to have worked in safari either. I used the following code:
.hbl_region textarea { min-height: 0px; line-height: .5em; }Perfect, thanks so much!
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks Ismael, and what would happen if we just cancel out this rule all together so the default olark settings kick in? Will this impact any part of the theme negatively?
Ideally, we’d just remove the impact of this on the Olark widget.
Thanks =)
Hi Yigit,
Very sorry about the duplicate topic, I was worried that I threw too much into this one so thought I’d at least find out the most important answer I needed quicker on it’s own. Won’t do again.
I dug through the forum a bit as I needed to fix everything in short order and I at least found working solutions, but not sure if they were the best.
For 2) I used the css .image-overlay { display: none!important; }
For 1) and 4) I just created a custom class and used the following code – is this the best way to accomplish this or is there a better way to align everything middle vertically and move left/right as needed?
.avia_image.asseen1 { top: -8px; right: -160px; } .avia_image.asseen2 { top: -38px; } .avia_image.asseen3 { top: -21px; left: -160px; }Thank you,
JonathanSorry and I’d also like to move the images closer to each other towards the centre. For convenience, all questions are:
1) How can I get the images to be aligned centre vertically? Currently centred horizontally as per the option in the theme provides but as you can see they all seem to be aligned “top” vertically.
2) How come the centre image shows an overlay when cursor goes over it and the others don’t? Can I remove this?
3) Can I remove some of the whitespace around the top and bottom of the images?
4) Can I move the images all closer towards the centre of the page? Thanks!
Best,
JonathanThis reply has been marked as private.Ok, thanks very much. Take care!
If I am only using that one image and not using the actual “slider” functionality, is this still the best way to have a banner image that is full width? Or is there a more recommended and less resource intensive way?
Thanks Josue.
This reply has been marked as private.Ok, thanks Devin. As long as the escaped fragments don’t negatively affect my SEO I will leave as per theme defaults if that is what is recommended.
