Devin,
I went ahead and made adjustments – the whitespace is definitely not as precise as previous to the update. Is this something you guys are aware of? It’s hard to make changes without them being drastic.
Best,
JonathanYigit,
I just realized I need to check the new test page to see changes. The test page looks better in that now all text is on the correct background, but the background only colour section separator is now missing. Looks like you’re on the right track. Any other suggestions?
Best,
JonathanHi Yigit,
Thanks for the clarification.
I’d love to use the new version, so if you think we’re almost there I’ll leave a bit longer.
I did include your custom css code in custom.css and it seems to be applied as the ez slider is now hidden, etc. So I’m not sure what you mean. Please let me know what to do and if you think we can fix this soon!
Best,
JonathanOk thanks Devin, on both points. So I need to just go in and adjust the spacing manually to look like before then, and nothing to worry about. If that’s the case then you can close this ticket!
Thanks,
JonathanApril 5, 2014 at 11:04 pm in reply to: Custom header height not working in internet explorer 9 #247868Hi Ismael, this seems to be working now actually. Please confirm as I’m using virtualization. If so you can close!
Hi Yigit,
I deactivated but no changes so I moved all your code to custom.css. The mobile still does not work. Please let me know if this is something we will be able to fix shortly otherwise I need to revert to the old theme as I have many customers find me via mobile and this has been a few days already. Thanks for understanding.
Also, did you add any plugins? There were a few I didn’t recognize but it’s been a while since I looked. Also, please don’t update any plugins for me – there are a few that need updating but I will do so once we’re done.
Thanks,
JonathanThanks for keeping me posted Yigit! I just flushed the Google Pagespeed Cache in case that might help.
I hope you can fix these! Fingers crossed.
Talk soon,
JonathanHi Yigit,
Any chance you can look into this shortly if possible? If not please let me know as I will then revert to the old theme – I can’t leave my site like this for too much longer.
Thanks,
JonathanSorry Yigit, also wanted to mention that I just noticed the ez slider doesn’t’ show in mobile anymore either…
To recap, three things if you can look into when in my site:
1) Background showing wrong in iPhone mobile mode
2) ez slider not showing in mobile screen
3) horizontal whitespace much larger after update from 2.4 than beforeThank you thank you thank you!
Site is running through Google Pagespeed so I don’t know if you will be able to see your changes live as it’s cached…
Thanks for looking into this.

Unfortunately it didn’t work. I’ll post temporary login below.
Can you please fix this as well as my issue in the below thread that hasn’t been resolved? I’ve been hoping someone would look at it but no one has yet.

Thanks a lot for this.
Best,
JonathanYigit, the background issue is very critical – are there any other suggestions?
Can someone please look at this? I put a lot of time and detail into my description above. Really appreciate it! =)
April 3, 2014 at 4:52 pm in reply to: Custom header height not working in internet explorer 9 #247118The first one changes things but it makes the header start over the slider – even if I change to 58px.
Hi guys,
Unfortunately that still doesn’t work… looks the same.
Best,
JonathanHi guys, I’m sorry to bug you but I’m wondering if I should go back to the old theme until this is fixed? Is it something you need to look into? I just can’t have up as is for much longer. Thanks!

Thanks Ismael, will do on all points. Already the link you sent helped as it says sometimes things don’t look right on virtualization – sure enough on a real browser the icons don’t show but they don’t show as chinese either.
Thanks, you can close this ticket!
Hi Yigit,
This didn’t work unfortunately. I know you have a lot of tickets to work on but I really appreciate you helping me fix this quickly as you can see my mobile site is unusable currently! =)
Best,
JonathanHi Ismael,
Thanks for all your help today! Just wanted to make sure you see this one too as that way I’ll have everything corrected today so my site doesn’t look off for too long. Thanks so much.

Please see screenshot here: http://i.imgur.com/b6ohi54.png
I am talking about the white gap circled in red. That same gap appeared in all browsers on update of the theme but then I just set the custom header height to match the css rules I had in place before and it was fine. It is still showing on explorer though unfortunately.
Thanks for helping with this.
Best,
JonathanHi Ismael,
1) On an iPhone – you can see screenshot here: http://i.imgur.com/h3qk0vP.png
2) This is resolved, thanks!

If possible please take a look at this as soon as possible so I don’t leave it up looking like this! =)
Screenshot of old theme: http://i.imgur.com/cTu4kN1.png
Screenshot of new version: http://i.imgur.com/fSyHfXg.pngYou can see the whitespace that the horizontal rulers are now displaying below the slider, and this also happens with every other horizontal ruler whitespace on the page. Why is this happening? I didn’t make any changes to the page, only updated the theme.
If I inspect element and use the first horizontal ruler as an example, the code shows as follows for each:
Old:
<div style="height:35px" class="hr hr-invisible avia-builder-el-2 avia-builder-el-first "><span class="hr-inner"><span class="hr-inner-style"></span></span></div>New:
<div style="height:35px" class="hr hr-invisible avia-builder-el-2 el_before_av_one_full avia-builder-el-first "><span class="hr-inner"><span class="hr-inner-style"></span></span></div>So it looks like the theme update added “el_before_av_one_full” to the horizontal ruler… any ideas?
I hope this helps, and thank you! I’m sure I’m not the only person the update would have done this too so I hope it helps others as well.
Best,
JonathanThanks for the kind words!
The site is currently fine as I reverted to v2.5 of the theme. When I upgrade though, my horizontal ruler whitespace shows much larger than what I had set it as. I was hoping you can tell me why this is happening and how to fix it so I can fix immediately on upgrade – is it a known issue?
The jump issue is fine because of the code I’d mentioned previously – but the update breaks this as well.
Do you need to see the upgrade live to fix or do you know why it might be happening? It’s a business site with live adwords going to it so I’d rather not leave it up not looking right.
Thanks,
Jonathan -
