Ok perfect, thank you!
Ok, thank you. I apologize for all the questions.
Last thing I’m curious about – I don’t understand which way is better, to insert the script directly into the header.php file or to use the hook? If they both accomplish the same thing. Am I right in assuming that if I’m not using a child theme then just insert into header.php and keep a log of my edit to repeat on theme updates, and if I’m using a child theme then the hook is the way to go?
Thanks again for all your assistance.
Best,
JonathanOh ok so I can just insert this into custom.css instead of modifying the header.php file?
Thanks! It looked more difficult online when searching as there were things about hooks and such. No chance that this will break anything? Or is it best to use a plugin to insert headers?
That’s perfect, thank you!

Thank you! It goes farther left than the rest of my content now – is there a way to align this with the logo and the content below?
You’re awesome as usual, that worked. Thanks! Any idea why this happened with the update?
Hi Josue! If you look at the “after-update” link above you’ll see that the header overlaps the slider image very slightly, but to the point that the top bar of the slider image is noticeably thinner than the bottom. This does not occur on 2.9 in the “current” link. No idea why this is happening!
Thanks for your help.
Best,
JonathanAlso, how come my breadcrumbs are aligned right rather than to the left the way they are on your site?
Best,
JonathanWorks, thank you!
Thanks Josue, I just updated my staging site to the latest version of the theme and it does seem to work now. I guess I won’t worry about this until I update my live site as this will be corrected. Thank you.
Hi Yigit, that works, thank you very much!
How can I just show the breadcrumbs but no title? Also, how do I change the colour of the breadcrumb bar?
Many thanks,
JonathanHi Ismael, I enabled it on the About page.
There was the following css in my custom file, but even if removing this the breadcrumbs still don’t show. They did on the home page but then I disabled that as I don’t want it to show there. Enabling on the other pages doesn’t work though for some reason. Thanks in advance for your help!
.stretch_full.container_wrap.alternate_color.light_bg_color.title_container{ display:none; }Hi Yigit,
I’ve deactivated all plugins and changed the settings for the about page but it still doesn’t show titles or breadcrumbs. I gave you a login – are you able to look into this?
Best,
JonathanHi Yigit, any luck with this?
Thanks!
Best,
JonathanThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Ismael, I don’t believe this is the same issue as I’ve tried this and it doesn’t fix it. You can see at the following url – the first image has caption/title/description etc but it doesn’t show in the lightbox. Also, I use the gallery from within the enfold builder so that should support it I think?
Please let me know why this isn’t working if able!
Thanks Tim, really appreciate it. I just tried adding the fix and it still seems to not work unfortunately. I think I may be having a different issue.
Enfold guys, waiting for your help, thanks! =)
Thank you Tim. Can one of the Enfold guys please confirm whether this is the same issue? I’d rather not make changes to my theme files unless necessary.
This reply has been marked as private.I think it may be the same issue. Will wait for them to respond.
Also, this isn’t due to any recent update, etc. I remember having this issue a while back but haven’t yet looked into it until now. Thanks for helping me with this!
Ok perfect, thank you. This is resolved!
That worked perfectly, thank you.
And regarding the need to add the caption in the galleries now rather than just alt text, that is a known change?
Ok, I’ll check when on the newest version. Thank you!
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Yigit,
Unfortunately (1) didn’t work. It removed some whitespace but didn’t correct the underlying issue that my previously made css image alignment rules aren’t being applied. If you look at the non-staging version of my site with the old theme you’ll see how they are supposed to look. Thanks for looking into this further.
For (2), in the old theme it used to automatically show the alt text above the image. I guess the new format doesn’t do that? I must add the caption field?
Thanks!
Best,
JonathanThat worked, thanks so much! I noticed you said initially to upgrade to the latest theme. I’m in process but just working out some minor issues. Does the latest version correct this? Should I remove that css code once updated?
