Ahh got you, so am i correct in assuming that another option is to just upload a background image that is already greyed out and then remove the transition?
Hello,
Unfortunately that done the opposite of what I wanted. I need the background to be greyed out how it was originally but grey out as soon as the page loads.
Please refer to my message above and the video as it explains it all.
Thanks
Hello,
Just disabled it now..
Worked like a charm so thank you for your help.
How do i fix the problem with my other issue mentioned in my first comment?
I’ve listed it below again for ease:
2 – When my page loads it loads with my background image in full colour then after 1 second the background image changes to black and white (which is how I want it to show). My question is – how do i get it to load like this from the beginning? I don’t want to see my background image in colour and the delay in changing is annoying.
I’ve linked to the video below to show you the issue.
Thanks
Just created a new user for ease, details below:
and just to confirm what size should this image be to ensure it fills up all of the gap without being stretched to suit?
Thank you, you’re a star *
Details below. Also I did not set up black and white, I cloned the original slider which comes with the theme as default and then simply picked another background image so it automatically made it black and white (which is how i like it anyway)
Yes thats correct, I would like the image to be full width and fill up the space so it looks professional and not tacky how it does atm
Cheers

Just tried the below and it works, although it should not be as long winded as this
