I have already tried that about 5 times and changed the title by the method described in my original question.. Will try and access the php files.

Advice has been brilliant and I have managed to get 1 and 3 to work however:
2) How/Where do I insert the code for the bar that contains the Copyright information? I can access the Copyright information via Theme Options – Footer but I don’t know where I input the code? Apologies for asking for an idiot proof explanation!Of Course – what a numpty! Thank you so much for your prompt reply. You know sometimes when you cant see the wood for the trees.
I am having exactly the same issue. I have followed your thought process and implemented the ‘Archive Remote Images’ and the ‘Force Regenerate Thumbnails’. The issue is the size of the images I am using in the slider. The width and height of the images are coming through as the original and not being displayed at 1500 by 430. What am I doing wrong please?

I cant post the code from the slider as it displays the image instead! Apologies I’m not that much of an advanced user.
