Hmm. I did this yet I still have issues.
On the blog page, I inserted a full width slider but it isn’t showing up.
I want the blog style to show excerpts with read more link (I did choose this option), but I get full length posts.
On the Title Bar Settings, I say Hide both, yet the Title bar is showing.
Under Widgets, I have a Sidebar Blog set up with Enfold FB Likebox + 3 others – the Likebox doesn’t appear yet the 3 others do (RSS, Categories, Tags)

Also I can’t figure out the difference between a socket and widget in the footer. (just need to find a good tutorial on that)

But I really do think there’s either a problem with my blog page, or I have a major misunderstanding of what rules have precedent. I’m not having a problem on any other page. thank goodness.
