Hello, please help! My entire website is down/not working. (I am the same user LoyalCustomer, but the Kriesi website will not let me login under that username and I mention this username in the private content way at the top in the first post.) It appears somehow the Enfold theme was deleted from my website, but I haven’t even logged in or changed anything. It appears the Enfold Child theme is still there, but the main Enfold Parent theme is not.
There is an error message on the Appearance tab in WordPress that says: “Broken Themes. The following themes are installed, but incomplete. Name: Enfold Description: stylesheet is missing.” There is now an option to install the Enfold theme again on the Envato Market tab, but when I try to install the Enfold theme again is gives an error: “Destination folder already exists. /var/www/wp-content/themes/enfold/ Theme install failed.”. I tried clearing the cache, then re-installing, I tried from different browsers, and other problem solving and nothing seems to work.
The Enfold theme on my website seems to constantly have issues in regards to updates and I appreciate your help getting it working correctly. Please help make whatever urgent fixes are required to get the website working again (info shared in private content). I am unable to access the site by FTP or to upload files etc. due to personal matters I am still attending to and greatly appreciate your help. Thank you very much.
Same thing continues to happen to us every time we try to retrieve the Yoast sitemap for our site. Everything is updated as mentioned above and we have cleared our cache etc.
Do we need to update the files from our FTP folder in order to fix it or does updating using the Enfold “Theme Update” Panel within WordPress do the same thing? Thanks!
We already updated our theme to the most recent version of Enfold thru the theme update in WordPress and are still having the issues. Can you please update the files from our FTP folder with the new latest version of enfold as mentioned above?
We have no idea how to even download the most recent files because we usually just update through the word press update, we don’t know how to actually upload them once we do get the files, and it will take us a very long time to even learn how to, then create new usernames, download programs, etc. etc. Thank you tremendously for your help!
Please help. We were told the following files on our site from the Enfold theme were found to have base 64 code commonly used by hackers to exploit websites.
We were also told that even after deactivating all plugins and changing to the default 2016 WordPress theme there was still something showing that said something like object cache.php that our support tried renaming and it still registered as enfold theme even though it was set to 2016 theme.
In the meantime, our support was able to put something in htaccess to redirect any visitors that visit the www version of our site so it takes them to the working non www version like it used to instead of getting an error.
*PLEASE HELP to fix/remove any of the old or hacked base 64 files and reinstall theme etc!!! Thank you!!! Here are list of files found with base 64 code:

***URGENT PLEASE HELP, WHAT WAS CHANGED??? WE JUST POSTED AND STARTED SENDING ALL OUR TRAFFIC TO THE NEW WEBSITE LAST NIGHT. THE SITE WAS WORKING FINE AND EVERYTHING WAS SHOWING FINE ON MOBILE ON ALL PAGES AS OF YESTERDAY EVENING.

Hey Andy. It has been almost a week and now urgent that we get this fixed as we have something important this evening that the transparent logo needs to be showing correctly on mobile for. We have already spent hours trying to follow the thread above and several others, but our site already has a little existing CSS code that kriesi support had us add a while back for the transparent Logo and I think something for the Menu as well. We are not familiar with code and didn’t want to mess up the existing transparent logo that currently shows fine on desktop by pasting another random code from a thread that has different settings than us. Please help to make the change as soon as possible or let us know how to simply make our logo show as transparent on mobile like it used to. Thank you, we really appreciate your help. Our private site details are provided below and the current CSS our site now has is:

}}We already had selected “Transparent Header” and updated each page, but the logo still does not show as transparent on the MOBILE version of the site. As mentioned, the logo shows correct and transparent on the desktop version of the site, but not on the mobile version. Please help. Thank you.
How do we remove some of the spacing in between the layout elements of our website on the What We Do, About Us, and Home Page, Etc.? We tried adjusting the padding but that just mostly changes spacing at the top. What is the easiest way for a beginner like myself without coding knowledge to shorten the spacing between the layout elements or sections as they appear on the screen? I posted specifics in the private content section below.
Also, how do we have the blog auto generate the featured image for each blog post? Even if it is just a small snapshot of the article that is fine. Thank you, I appreciate your help!

Thank you Yigit. I will download the file and post access privately as requested, but what do you mean by upload Enfold.zip file to somewhere on my server? What server and where? I appreciate your patience with me, just want to make sure I do it correctly.

I watched all the videos and theme update instructions in documentation, but don’t think it is working correctly. I’m not positive, but am pretty sure I added the API key into the Enfold parent theme when we first set everything up prior to creating the Enfold child theme.
I received an email on 8/19/2015 saying there is a new update for the Enfold Theme, but I didn’t receive a notification in WordPress about the update. I also checked again in WordPress and it says all the Themes are up to date but I never did any updates and it looks like the Enfold Parent theme is not the most recent version.
*How can we find out if I have already added the API key in the parent theme without our site formatting going down if we have to switch back to the Parent Theme to check to see if the API key is there?
*If the API key is added to the Enfold parent theme, it should notify us in WordPress if a new update is available and we can update it all from WordPress right?
*Should we also add the API key to our Child Theme? *How do we know if the Child theme is up to date?

I have been trying what you mentioned for several days now, but when I go to Appearance > Editor and add the code to Functions.php file it shows the company name in very small black lettering. Do you know how to make the text white and a bit larger so it matches the menu or company name lettering?

Thank you Yigit!!! It worked, but how do I get the company name (heading text) that says John… to show where the logo used to be in the top left corner on the same line as the Menu?
Lastly, how do I hide the author name from all blog posts including new ones that are going to be added shortly?
If you know how to make either of these changes, please do so if possible. Your help is greatly appreciated as I cannot figure out how to finalize either of these. Thank you tremendously again!

The Enfold Child Theme video is helpful and I tried to follow it as closely as I could, but it was mostly describing how to setup your own Enfold Child Theme and didn’t have much on what to do if you imported the Enfold Child Theme template that Kriesi generously provides.
I didn’t do much if any setup after importing the Enfold Child Theme Template provided by Kriesi then activating it and just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Everything looks okay with the functionality the way the parent/child theme are currently setup right?

Thank you Dake. We got things sorted out on our end and just deleted the page then ended up using other pictures for the time being so we can get the site up.
I have watched the videos, read the tutorial and read the WordPress codex language at http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes, but am still not sure if I set up my Enfold child theme correctly or if it is working correctly with the parent theme. I downloaded the Enfold child theme from the beginning right after downloading the parent theme as instructed, then I made the child theme active and set up my whole site in the child theme. (Thank you by the way for making the child theme download available, it is very helpful for us newbies)
Please let me know if it looks like it is working correctly or setup ok because I am a little lost and about to go live with my site, but wanted to make sure the Enfold child theme/parent theme are working together correctly.
Also, this is probably a dumb question but I am a beginner and just wanted to make sure: I should have the Child Theme as the Active theme when my site goes live right? Thank you tremendously for your help!

The footer information you provided was very helpful. Regarding the documentation, I was not able to find any documentation in the theme zip from themeforest and was sure to select the download with documentation option. Is there a general documentation instruction manual for this theme that starts from the beginning? Can you please send whatever documentation usually comes in the theme zip?
