Hi Jordan – thanks for the reply. Yes, I use iFrames all the time. Don’t like the scroll bars that appear depending on screen size, resolution, etc. So, I’m looking for specifics on how the Avia page element works, where it works and when it works. I’ve looked in the Enfold documentation but didn’t find anything regards this element.

Thanks for your help and taking a look. I disabled ALL plugins and experience the same result. It does not appear to be an issue with a plugin conflict.
I did try the partner/logo element in a site running Enfold 4.3.1 (see private content for link). It seems to work fine in v4.3.1 regardless of browser.

Any other thoughts on how to fix my issue with the logo element?

Hi Victoria – I’m not a developer so I was a bit intimidated by your reply at first. However, with the screen shot above, I was able to figure out what you’re talking about. The caption overlay now works exactly how I’d like it too for images I put on my site with the Avia image element. As the old saying goes, “thanks for teaching me how to fish instead of giving me a fish”. :)

Here’s my next issue. I’d like to same functionality for images in posts. Specifically, I’d like the caption overlay to appear in images rendered with the Avia “Blog Posts” element. As far as I can tell, the images this element renders are the “featured image” on a post. Is there a way to overlay the caption text in the blog post element?

Yeah I understand that. But it’s all about the connecting line. 1/5 cells is not the solution I’m looking for.

Thanks Ismael! Yes they are mp4 videos. The code in the referenced thread has fixed my issue with Enfold v4.2.

Before this thread gets completely hi-jacked into another issue, allow me to refocus it.

It seems that Enfold 4.2 has a known issue with displaying video correctly – videos show up in a frame much too small for the user to read the text in the video. Reverting back to Enfold 4.1.2 fixes the issue. In the thread I mention above, Ismael offered some custom css code to fix the issue:

We are aware of the video issue on the latest version. It can be easily fixed by adding the following css codes.
#top .av-video-slide video {
height: auto !important;
}

#top .av-video-slide .mejs-container {
width: 100% !important;
}

This code did not fix my issue and Ismael suggested I start a new thread with login credentials to my sight so that someone from Kriesi support could take a look.

I’ve reverted back to Enfold 4.1.2 several times, but Enfold keeps auto-updating to 4.2 and breaks my videos again. I’d like to get this issue resolved in Enfold v4.2.

Thanks for the help. I’ve looked at the article you suggest but I’m not using a child theme. When I activate the enfold child theme, to try to take advantage of this code, my site goes wonky. So, 2 questions:

1. can i put the code from the article you link in functions.php? I know it would be replaced whenever Enfold is updated.
2. Any idea why I can’t turn on the Enfold child theme without goofing up my entire site?

Thanks for the reply. I submitted a feature request. Would you please help me with 2 things regarding the full-width button:

1. How do I set the color to be transparent? I found some Quick CSS code to do that in a support article, but can’t seem to find it now.
2. Is there a way to control the full-width button height? Currently, I”m using 180px of white space to position my text correctly in my grid row cell. I’d like to replace the 180px of white space with a 180px tall, transparent button.

Finally, is there a way to ignore a URL’s hover color and/or link indicator (underlined) in a grid row cell? I’d like the URL in a grid row cell to appear as normal text (no underline) and not change color when the cursor hovers over it.

With those changes, the bulk of my grid row cells would be “clickable”.

A quick update . . . When I run Chrome in “incognito” mode, the pages noted above render correctly. So it may be a chrome add-in that causing the issue?
