  • Hi Ismael,

It looks like I’ve finally got things working again.
Your mention of ‘modifications directly on theme files’ tipped me off:

The only two theme files I’ve modified are the custom.css (for my own font) & the functions.php with the provided code for adding custom classes. However, instead of re-adding this code to the newly provided functions.php file, I copied over the old one…

Lesson learned, Child Theme from here on out.

Thanks again to everyone for your constant help, for Enfold, which is such a great theme & for constantly updating it with new features!

    Hi guys,

In waiting for a solution I’ve moved some things around on the site so that I don’t have a broken page as a landing page.

You can see the colour sections breaks here still:

    Thanks,

    Thanks Devin,

I’ve completely wiped all files through the cPanel File Manager & reinstalled my site from the backup that I created last month (including the database backup I made at the same time).

This allowed me access to the wp admin, where as expected due to the old files, I was running an older version of wordpress & Enfold.
Unexpectedly though, this didn’t fix the colour section breaks!?

I’ve now updated both WordPress & Enfold, I still have admin access but the colour sections are still broken.
I also did a test with a fullwidth masonry gallery – which doesn’t display at all, just like the content within the colour sections.

you mentioned it could be a js issue, do you have any other ideas on what it could be or how I could go about getting it fixed?

    Thanks,
    J

Ok, now something’s REALLY gone wrong…

I tried replacing all and Enfold files with a backup I did of the entire site about a month ago & now I’m locked out of the dashboard, with a note that says:

    “No Update Required
Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!”

Any thoughts on this along with the original problem that is persisting?

    Thanks

    Unfortunately still no luck.
Tried the js folder and then I re-downloaded the Enfold theme & made sure that I’ve replaced it entirely, by uploading the zip file & extracting it directly within the cPanel file manager.

Also tried deactivating all plugins & that didn’t help either.

    Thanks,
    J

    Thanks Yigit,

I’ve reinstalled via FTP 3 times & it hasn’t come right – I’ve also just gone in now & over-written just the avia.js file & also nothing,
    could there be another fix?

    Thanks,

    J
