Tried applying your changes, no love :( You may want to check the tiperdev site to see if I applied them properly. Need some sleep now.
I’m not entirely comfortable giving login details to my site to a complete stranger… Is there another way you could reproduce this?
It occurs with all site plugins disabled, surely all you need to do is copy my top level nav items & use my site logo on any test site of yours.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the reply.
I am not keen to customise my install of Enfold, and I have specifically avoided doing it in the hope I would get good support.
The issue with my site only occurs at browser widths >~700px and <~1150px. Unfortunately this means the common browser size of 1024px shows a warped logo. If I resize the browser larger than this, the image snaps back to the correct width (ie 1280px is fine). It is reproducable in multiple browsers on multiple machines, so is not a browser/plugin issue.
Feel free to use my logo image to test. Maybe to reproduce you need to alter your top level nav to match mine.
I have a fairly large top level nav, and have woocommerce (I noticed some code relating to the shopping cart icon in the top nav).edit: Just to clarify — Is your code supposed to make the logo *larger*? Because that’s what it’s doing <1160px.
I would rather like to keep all of my files stock, but I can try a fix on my test site if you plan to include it in the next version of Enfold.
Cheers,

Perhaps it is to do with the size of my logo image, or the number of top level nav items I have. Do your sample sites have a similar setup? The avia function I referred to seems to look at the width of the nav and logo before calculating a new width.
edit: to be clear, the value is dynamic, you will not find 308px anywhere in the code.
My guess is that it should only be shrinking the logo if there are too many nav items, but it’s been coded wrongly.

If you had a stickied thread/new post notice with instructions, or auto-parser to do that with URLs, you may make your own lives easier and provide better support for your paying customers.
As you have not actually attempted to diagnose my problem at all (it has nothing to do with site plugins), I looked into it myself.
avia.js is adding a width parameter to the strong tag the site logo gets placed in. I have not debugged the function, but is occurring round line 224. For my site, the calculated value is 308px which is wrong, and stretches the logo. The function avia_responsive_menu is very different in 2.1 and does not exhibit this bug.
I would suggest you need to fix this bug in your base code with the next release of Enfold…

Scroll back to the top of the page. Use a screen width above 768px and below 1024px. Immediately after the page loads, the logo stretches wider. I have verified on multiple PCs using multiple browsers.
Do you think I would have opened this thread if this wasn’t a legitimate bug? Why aren’t you taking this seriously?
Please ensure you’re using the right URL. There are two in two different posts. It would be great if you allowed users to edit their old posts to solve problems like this.
If you view the later URL you will find it’s broken in both IE11 and Firefox 24.

I just upgraded my test site to 2.2 and left it there so you can see the fault. tiperdev dot techcore dot com dot au.
I’d rather not put a custom css hack in place for what is clearly a theme bug. I thought you would be more responsive to someone reporting a problem like this?

Sorry, I may have misled you. As this is the production site for my business, I had to revert the theme to 2.1.
You can see in the screenshot I provided that the logo is clearly stretched.
Surely this can be reproduced elsewhere?
It’s in the logo in the image shown. www dot tiperformance dot com dot au.
As I suspected, removing the Quick CSS (which were mostly suggested in this thread) did not change the behavior.
If you are testing for this bug on another installation, please make sure you set the ‘Responsive Header Main Menu’ to Dropdown. The bug only occurs with a dropdown menu.
To be clear, it *does* impact a device.
Cheers,
Jason
Sorry for the slow reply.
I am trying to fix rendering on the iPad Mini. See http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/3269/or2g.jpg (sorry for the lack of screenshot, not my device).
I will try disabling the Quick CSS and report back.
Err… Did you see my screenshot? Please size your browser window to 1024x768px, then grab the right frame and drag in slowly, watching the menu. You will notice the menu disappear right away, then the drop down appear in the wrong location, then disappear altogether, before re-appearing closer to 800px.
I have another question also. As you can see, that slider looks a bit crappy on Mobile sites in Portrait. Any ideas on how to make it scale a bit better?
Cheers,
Jason
Thanks. Can you also clean up my old thread, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/newbie-looking-for-a-little-help#post-122164 ?
I had not edited any files in the theme (this is deliberate, for easy upgrades). I just deleted the whole enfold folder and extracted 1.8.2 (I already had done 1.8 a few days ago). Problem is still there. I have only added the custom css described in this thread, so are you sure it does not occur in the base theme? As in the screenshots, I am using the drop down not the icon menu.
Cheers,
Jason
Howdy,
Thanks, tidied that up. Can you please remove the direct links to the site from my previous posts? Images are fine (I can fix those later). If you could also fix up https://kriesi.at/support/topic/newbie-looking-for-a-little-help#post-122164 that’d be great.
Back on the nav issue — I updated to the latest version of the theme, and it does not fix this issue. The issue also occurs with multiple browsers. Are you sure I have to add custom code to get this to work? Shouldn’t it be fixed in the theme?
Cheers,
Jason
Thanks for the reply :)
I have noticed one other issue. When using some browser sizes, the nav either appears in the wrong place, or disappears altogether. Any thoughts?

Thanks heaps for 3, 6 and 8. They worked great.
A bit of a bummer around 1, 5 and 7 :(
Is there anything simple I could do with sidebar.php or single.php to fix #5? I can live without social icons, and hopefully the feature gets added to alter news item height, but the sidebar issue is a huge pain.
I guess I could force a blank sidebar on the single blog page or something like this?
Cheers,
Jason
Hmm.
1. I am running 1.7. There are no options in the Blog Posts widget that give any more words. http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/4070/apov.jpg
3. There is a huge amount of padding below the twitter widget before the Youtube widget. This makes the footer higher than it needs to be. I would like some help fixing this please.
5. You have misunderstood the problem. I want to get the blog post in ‘sidebar’ mode, without showing the sidebar. See http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/1913/r8bh.jpg
6. Thanks. However, this seems to have broken the height of the header rows?
7. Can this be done without editing theme files? I want to be able to upgrade the theme freely without overwriting hacked in customisations and breaking my site.
8. The page is using ‘staff member’ ui elements to show each logo. The icon overlays on the logo do not wrap properly at 1024px browser width. See http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/606/5hi7.jpg
Thanks for your help!
Jason
No :-(
Thanks for the fast reply!
