Hi Rikard
Nearly but not quite!! The caption is left aligned but the icon is still centred.
This is the CSS currently in place:
.page-id-1889 a.av-icon-char {
float:left !important;
border-color: transparent !important;
}
.page-id-1889 a.av-icon-char span {
display: inline-block !important;
text-align: left !important;
}
.page-id-1889 .av_font_icon a {
width: 200px !important;
}
.page-id-1889 .av_icon_caption {
text-align:left !important;
}Hope we can resolve this one. Thanks!
Christian
Hi Basilis
Thanks for that fix. It does place the icon above the text but both are now centred again!
Am I doing something wrong? It would really be great to be able to align icon and text left.
Thanks!
Christian
Hi Rikard
Thanks a lot for that.
The icon aligns left nicely. However, the text is still centred and to the right of the icon. Is it possible to align text left and ensure it appears underneath the icon.
Sorry to hassle!
Thank you.
Christian
Hi Yigit
Thanks for getting back to me. Here is a screenshot annotated:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25523105/standalone-icon.png
Basically I just want to align Icon and Caption left and remove the circle border when using a Standalone Icon. (If I use an inline Icon there is not option for a Caption and I need the caption.)
I hope this is clear. Here is the page:
Thanks
Christian
Hi there Nikko
That worked for the submenu item. But now how can I also ensure that the parent menu item also displays the active colour?
Many thanks!
CJ
Hey there.
Please note I have worked out the Progress Bar height so please close this thread.
Thanks
Christian
Hi Basilis
Sorry, I didn’t think you’d need access. It is just the standard Enfold Progress Bar I would like to make thicker/higher.
WP Login below.
Many thanks.

Hi Rikard
Thanks for your reply!
1. It’s a bit deceptive because even thought the header height is probably the same on mobile screens it looks taller. I would just like the CSS to target the header height on mobile screens only, so I can fine tune and maybe reduce the height a bit to make the header slimmer.
2. On a related issue, I’m using four Full Width Easy Sliders on that same page. Can you please give me the CSS to target the margin position and font size of the Easy Slider Caption Text on mobile screens only so I can adjust these a little?
Thanks very much!
Christian
Thanks for that Nikko.
I’m still having with Enfold’s responsive behaviour in Tablet Portrait. On the second section on this page the second and third columns (‘Balance’ & ‘Burn’) are not horizontally centred correctly in Tablet Portrait:
munchfit.co.uk/for-gyms/
Can you help? It seems ok on Mobile, but not Tablet Portrait.
Thanks

ChristianHi Nikko thanks for that.
Is it tricky to change the Mobile menu icon to the plain hamburger icon – lines only, no dots? It’s a Fontello font icon, right?
Cheers
ChristianHi Nikko
Thanks for this. I’ll try it out.
Does the #av_section_2 refer to the fact that it’s the second colour section on the page?
Christian
Hi Nikko
I thought I’d added the page but it appears as a website:
web-lounge.co.uk/gyms/
Can you see the Build Balance Burn black section half way down the page? Also there are other places on the site where I’d like to go to 1 column in Tablet Portrait so a global solution would be good rather than a page specific one.
Thanks very much.
Christian
Hey Ismael
Thanks for that solution. That’s great for centering the logo. Can you help with two more small issues relating to mobile:
1. Mobile screen: the full screen slider title and caption (my first content section) does not centre correctly on mobile
2. Mobile header: is it possible to adjust the height of the mobile header? I’d like to make it narrower to match the size of the logo.
Thanks so much!
Hi there,
Thanks for the reply.
1. That CSS doesn’t seem to work but I found this in another thread that works for iPhone portrait:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive.html_header_top.html_logo_center .logo {
left: 25%;
position: relative !important;
}}2. Is it possible to add a version of this CSS to centre the logo when iPhone is in landscape mode, i.e. with a min- and max-width instruction i.e. 360-640 or similar?
3. One a similar issue, the first section of this one page site is a Full Screen Slider. The Title and Body Captions don’t centre correctly on iPhone Portrait (“TYRINGHAM HALL A mystery school…”. Any clues how to solve this?
Thanks very much again!!
Hi there Basilis
Just picking up this thread. I would like to keep my logo centred on mobile screens but in my case I no menu. It is a single page site with no menu items. Is it possible to keep the logo centred in this instance?
Thanks very much indeed
Hi Rikard
Many thanks for your reply. This one:
http://www.dandajaroljmek.com/
It would be terrific to create this type of effect, a 20px white border around the whole site at the edge of the browser:

Thanks so much.
Christian
Hey Andy really sorry about that. I mixed up the screenshots.
This is the homepage I currently have:
http://www.dandajaroljmek.com/
The Tablet version looks like this:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/04f58bfs25
Here is a test page using a grid row:
http://www.dandajaroljmek.com/home-scroll/
The Tablet version looks like this:
http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/0b25875gc9
Is it possible to make my Homepage (the top link) reduce to Tablet size in the same way as the last link does i.e. with photo above text block?
I hope that now makes sense!
Best regards,
Christian
Hi there Elliot,
Thanks for the feedback!
Here’s a tablet sized screenshot of the Homepage that uses a full width parallax image with text on top. The text sits covering the image:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0b25875gc9
This page is a Desktop page using a Grid Row with a half page image:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0fe58765bf
This is what happens to the Grid Row when you go to Tablet size. The image says separate to the text.
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0b25875gc9
My question is whether it’s possible to separate image and text in the same way at Tablet size when using a full width background as my homepage is currently set up:
http://www.dandajaroljmek.com/
I guess I want the best of both worlds here!
Thanks very much,
Christian
Hi Elliott,
So is the issue a conflict between the Settings > Reading and Enfold > Theme Options for the default homepage? Ok I’ll try removing the WP setting. Anyway I now have templates saved so I’m covered.
Re the Homepage not displaying full width, I’ve rebuilt the page so that’s no longer an issue.
Thanks for your help.
Christian
Hey Andy,
Thanks for that!
However, nothing happens with this CSS. The page id is correct but no result.
Will this CSS create a border or border drop shadow? That’s what I’m hoping for.
Thanks!!
Christian Jaroljmek
Hi Guys,
Thanks for trying.
The problem seem to be when I make the Homepage into the default landing page in WP and the Theme. TO BE CLEAR I HAVE LOST TWO HOMEPAGES ONCE I MAKE THE HOMEPAGE THE LANDING PAGE IN ENFOLD AND WP. Super stressful for my client and me. I’ve recovered via making Templates from open dashboards.
This time I was clever (not me, a friend)! I’ve created a redirect in the .htaccess file so that the homepage is:
http://www.munchfit.co.uk/homepage
But the problem is not resolved. Is it a hack or something else?
Grateful for help. Note I have reinstalled WP and the latest theme update. The client is expecting traffic tomorrow, 8th July so I do not want to delete any pages etc.
Thanks!
Christian Jaroljmek
Hey Rikard,
Thanks for coming back to me!
I’d like to add a border and/or a light drop shadow to the publication thumbnails on this page only to lift them off the white page. But, I don’t want to add borders to the logos on the right hand side of the page!
(Some of the thumbnails have borders but these are from the screengrabs which are inconsistent.}
http://palnetwork.org/research/
Is this possible!?
Thanks very much.
Christian Jaroljmek
Hi Yigit,
Thanks very much for that.
Regarding the overlay, I’m happy with the overlay. It’s just that the overlay is a few pixels wider on each side than the image. Is it possible to have the overlay exactly the same dimensions as the image?
Sorry, I know this is fiddly and annoying!!
Thanks a bunch!
Christian
Sorry Digit!
In the first blue colour strip on this page the subtitle is not full #ffffff like the title:
http://palnetwork.org/Here is an example of the image hover extra border effect:

Christian
Hey Yigit!
Thanks that was quick!
Is there no simpler way of adding a space/gap? Can I use the Separator > Custom settings? Or what about the negative px value? How does that work?

Christian

Hi Yigit,
This is the kind of effect I’m looking to achieve:
It would be nice to bleed the three boxes full width of the browser in the way that your Grid Row works, over the image.
Thanks!
Regards,
Christian
Hi Yigit,
Great thanks for that.
Two more really small questions:
1. Grid Row
Is it possible to have a Grid Row sitting on top of an image? I’ve tried to place the Grid Row on top of a Colour Section but it doesn’t seem to work. My idea is to have two or three colour blocks with text/icons running full width but overlaid on top of a larger/higher image background. Is there a way of achieving this?
2. Timeline
Is it possible to feature a timeline in Enfold? Or is there a plugin that you’d recommend that will be compatible with your CSS?
Thanks once again!
Regards,
Christian
