Example links are included in Private Content Message:
This page shows an example of the “Image element: Yes, slightly increase the image size” hover effect:
I would like to reproduce that hover effect here in the Post Slider element.I’m getting the following message when trying to send a “Private Content” reply message:
Reply To: Post Slider element hover customization
ERROR: Your reply cannot be empty. Thanks
I’ve been working with the parallax effect and it’s working for me now.
I’ve enabled advanced layout builder debug (as you suggested) and will contact you for shortcodes for other “element combinations” as they arise.

Finally was able to decompress zip file
Manually Update Enfold:
1. Log into themeforest with the username that you have used to purchase the Theme
2. Open: http://themeforest.net/downloads
3. Click the download button and download the Installable WordPress file.
4. Unzip the folder
5. Open your Ftp tool and connect to your server.
6. Replace the folder: wp-content/themes/enfold with the theme files you have just unzippedTo unzip:
Double click the zip file
Drag and drop “enfold” folder to desktop
Do you want to copy this folder without encryption – Yes
Do you want to copy this folder without encryption
[x] Do this for all items found. – Yes
Enfold folder is decompressed without problems.
Can now ftp it manually to wp-content/themes/ folderNote: replacing theme manually did not fix Widget options problem – but refreshing widgets page after widget is added to widget area brings up the needed options fields.
If I click Yes above, I get the following dialog message:
When I try to extract the Enfold Theme files from the downloaded zip file, I get this dialog message:
Windows 7 unzip dialog message:
Confirm Encryption Loss
Do you want to copy this folder without encryption?
A problem is preventing this folder from being encrypted. This reply has been marked as private.I’m starting to tune in to PHP errors on my websites and am curious if it’s affecting site performance or affecting the front-end in a way I haven’t seen yet.
Thank you for your reply. WordPress core and some plugins were updated and I am no longer getting error messages :)
Thanks that did it :)
Hope this helps:
[1] Create a new custom widget area
WP Admin: Appearance > Widgets > Custom Widget Area >Spiritual Living > Click Add Widget button
Add PHP widget to the newly created Widget Area:
<?php // Shows recent post from category ID 28 yourcompany_posts_in_category( 28 ); ?>
[2] Custom Blog page
WP Admin: Pages > Your Custom BlogAvia Layout Builder code:
[av_one_third first] [av_textblock size='' font_color='' color='' custom_class=''] <a title="Spiritual Living" href="http://yourwebsite.com/category/spiritual-living/">Spiritual Living</a> [/av_textblock] [av_image src='http://yourwebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2014/03/category-image.jpg' attachment='381' attachment_size='full' align='center' animation='no-animation' link='manually,http://yourwebsite.com/category/spiritual-living/' target='' styling='' caption='' font_size='' appearance='' custom_class='category-image'][/av_image] [av_sidebar widget_area='Category Spiritual Living'] [/av_one_third]
I ended up using the Facebook Like box widget that’s included in Jetpack. It has options for light and dark.
Thanks

Thank you Ismael for the tagline information – that’s part of it.
Also, if you look at the 2 header images above, you’ll see that they are slightly different layouts. I’m wanting the blog, archive pages, posts to have the layout of the 2nd image, while the homepage and pages have the layout of the 1st image. In other words, can I have 2 different headers in one website? I’d appreciate a hint about how to go about this :)
So I can over-ride this with WordPress SEO by Yoast?

the map is now working, maybe there was an incompatibility issue with Firefox. Anyway, all’s well that ends well :)- This reply was modified 10 years, 7 months ago by Jagrav.

I reset permissions and I could then update the theme.
My server, WP Engine, actually has a button that will do it for you automatically.
Thanks for your help!
Thanks Ismael
So is this thinking correct?
Conclusion: You can activate a blog page globally in:
Enfold > Theme Options
And where do you want to display the Blog?
Lifestyle Blog (example page)Or locally in Pages > Community Blog (example page)
Avia Layout Builder > Content Elements > Blog PostsBut you can’t enable both.
