Appreciate the support :)
Remember this is a multisite. It’s showing 1 update at the top to the left of WP Engine Quick Links:

I was able to update Enfold today in our multisite from the admin :)
One side effect is having a false plugin update notification. I’m wondering if that could possibly be related to the LayerSlider issue?
Appreciate the help.
March 16, 2017 at 9:47 pm in reply to: Recreate Single Portfolio: Full Slider with video lightbox demo #762226Thank you. This got me up and running:
If you need an image, just insert the Image element, set the Image Link? settings to manual then add the video url.
The video link now opens a lightbox from an Enfold “Icon Box” element on the homepage. Excellent :)
March 16, 2017 at 5:32 am in reply to: Recreate Single Portfolio: Full Slider with video lightbox demo #761719Hi,
I’ve never made a portfolio item. I’m of course willing to try. What I’d like, just to get things rolling, is the easiest way to create an element that would launch a lightbox with a Youtube linked video.
Is there a simple way to do this?
March 10, 2017 at 1:45 am in reply to: Recreate Single Portfolio: Full Slider with video lightbox demo #758654I appreciate you sending the short code. I tried it, but it didn’t help me with creating an alb element or image that opens a lightbox with an embedded youtube video. It doesn’t have to be a portfolio. Just anything that would work.
Do you have any ideas?
March 9, 2017 at 9:57 pm in reply to: Recreate Single Portfolio: Full Slider with video lightbox demo #758583Thanks Jordan,
Unfortunately the pages on the Enfold demo doesn’t have an exact link for some reason. It would be more convenient if they did.
If you follow this link: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/
Select the Video filter, you’ll see the slider I’d like to recreate.
If you select the soccer ball image you’ll see the video light-box I’d like to recreate also.

Thanks for your help. The reason FTP was returning errors was because file names were to long. I moved my upload install file to a lower level on my computer, then transfered using FTP. All went well, without and errors :)
I just downloaded the newest version from ThemeForest and the version says 4.0. Where would I get version 4.02?
Can not proceed!
Thank you helping me.
Your adjustments did make the layerslider fullwidth but, increased the height. I’d like it to match similar page layouts on our site.

Thank you Basilis. I’ve shared this thread with Events Calendar Pro support.
Thank you for checking. I appreciate you making the extra effort to solve my problem :)
I rechecked the recurring event (see all) page and I am not seeing any pagination at the bottom where it should appear.
Can you please check the link in the private message?
Am sending you login information to check for Events Calendar Pro & Enfold theme conflict.
Yes, this problem is solved.
Yes, I contacted Events Calendar plugin support first.
He told me to test for conflicts. So on our staging site, I switched the theme to Twenty Sixteen and deactivated all plugins except The Events Calendar plugins. I tested the Recurring Event “See all” page and the « Previous Events / Next Events » appeared.
Then I activated Enfold theme. Rechecked the page and the « Previous / Next Events » links disappeared.
This is a very important function for our website. Our social and MailChimp marketing efforts for events link to these “view all” pages. Can someone please respond?
Thank you Gavinwm for adding this to my previous messages. I too am using 7-zip now, but forgot to post it here :)
Thanks Basilis
I’m using Content Slider for now, but will try customizing Testimonials.

That didn’t do anything.
Thank you so much for all your help. It makes life easier :)

You can view the MailChimp form now, it’s on the bottom of the page.
Thanks for you help Josue.
I got good results using the “MailChimp Integration” article.
Now that I’ve tested it, I notice that the confirmation text “Thank you, your sign up request was successful! Please check your email inbox to confirm.” is not lining up correctly.
Can you help me to align it to the left?
Thank you both for the help. It’s working!
I ended up using a combination of Enfold Child Theme settings and QuickCSS:[] WP: Enfold Child > Advanced Styling
Small bar above Main Menu
Font Color:
Background Color: #9c27b0
Border Color:[] Quick CSS:
/* * Start top header bar * */ /* Regular menu links */ .header_color .sub_menu>ul>li>a { color: #f7e8f7; } /* Current page menu link */ .sub_menu li.current-menu-item > a,.sub_menu a:hover { color: white!important; } /* * End Top header bar * */
This is getting a little confusing :)
I’m trying to work more from the enfold user interface in the Enfold Child. Rather than making all my changes in Quick CSS.
What I’m working with in this example is the top (secondary) menu bar that has a purple background. This is where I set part of the styling >
–
WP Admin: Enfold Child > Advanced Settings
[] Small bar above Main Menu
Change the styling for the small bar above the main menu which can contain social icons, a second menu and a phone number
Font Color: #f7e8f7 (light purple)
Background Color: #9c27b0 (purple)
Border Color: Default
–
So, the top menu has a purple background color and all the menu links are a very light purple. I would like the “current site link and hover” to be white (for contrast). I still would like the original hover underline. In this case I’m trying to see if the color white will contrast enough for visitors to know they’re on this page. If not, my second choice is to try bold.Hi Rikard,
It’s the secondary menu in the bar that I’m talking about. Your above css is for the main menu. Please see website link in previous private thread for a visual.
I actually changed the bold idea to a slight change of font colors. I made all the non current site links a light shade of whitish purple. I would like the current site link and hover to be white (for contrast). I still would like the original hover underline.
Thank you so much Elliott.
It’s working and I like this hover effect :) -
