    Hi Ismael,
    Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately disabling Responsive option creates new set of problems and doesn’t help with scaling the color section’s background images. But Advanced Layerslider works fine everywhere, it’s a pity I can’t create a container for color section to behave the same way.
    Is there a chance I can somehow create 2 separate versions of my website, mobile and regular? How do I do I separate them?

    in reply to: thumbnail pop-up picture #665365

    Thank you!
    1) Now each sub-menu gets the same set and order of thumbnail pictures. Instead I would like to create a individual set/order of pictures for each sub-menu. Where do I specify menu item number ?
    2) Is there a chance I can make pictures always appear at the same place?
    3) Can I resize the picture by the %?

    Thank you!
    What do I have to change in this code to have it only function with sub-menus?

    I would like to have this under the “artists” menu when it drops down. Thanks!

    Hello,
    How do I create the same in menus and sub-menus?
    Thanks!

    in reply to: Icon Box – transparent text #623088

    Thanks! It did what I inquired about.
    I see now it becomes transparent to the color of the Icon Box. Is there a possibility to make it transparent all the way to color section ?

    in reply to: Icon Box – transparent text #623081

    Hi,
    It made the icon box transparent.
    I wanted to have the transparent text inside the box.
    Thanks

    Here it is . Thank you!

    in reply to: problem with "Responsive" option #622995

    No and Yes. The text shown on your example goes a bit onto the part of the photo with texture. I want it to be completely on the plain grey part of the photo (a bit to the right).
    It’s always different depending on the viewer’s device. Basically I want to learn how to control the placement of text and make sure it looks the same on different devices.
    Thanks!

    in reply to: problem with "Responsive" option #622279

    Thanks for your reply.

    I always clear cache and refresh.

    View on my iPad and other mobile devices (4 in total) is still the same – not what I would like to have (examples are given in my initial post).

    In my understanding all of my questions are related to the same issue.

    In all of my posts here I have tried to describe my problem and ask specific questions that in my understanding will lead me to solving it, however I didn’t get answer to any of my questions. Please let me know if I’m asking the wrong questions.

    I’m using standard elements offered with Enfold theme. I assume it all supposed to be responsive and look good on mobile devices. What I need is to be able to control the placement of page elements because they don’t align correctly on mobile devices.

    Thank you!

    Is there a way to just enable mobile zoom functionality ? Thanks!

    in reply to: Advanced Layer Slider – video (background) slide #621156

    Well…Vinay was very kind and did this. I created my design based on his customization. Spent about two months working with it. Now you’re kinda saying all these and Vinay’s work was pointless. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming anyone – just sad.

    in reply to: Advanced Layer Slider – video (background) slide #621147

    Hi Andy,
    Did you see the post #594079 by Vinay ? He did some adjustments for me for combining Color Section and Advanced Layer Slider. Since both are supposed to be one section, I want them to have the same dimensions and scaling. That’s all. I don’t want any other sections but Advanced Layer Slider to appear on Color Section.

    in reply to: problem with "Responsive" option #620474

    Thanks, but this is not what I want and tried to describe for # 1 and # 2. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

    I’m using 1440×900 pictures both for Fullscreen slider and Color Section backgrounds. The picture you see in my previous post is full-screen 1440×900 picture. Screenshot of the page layout was attached in imgur gallery in my first post. The overlay will just darken the entire background image and this is not what I want.

    In case of #1, I would like to have the same display of my layout on mobile as I see it on my desktop. I need to be able to control the appearance of key elements (video slider, text blocks etc), dictate where they appear (left or right side of the screen no matter what the viewers device is), and how they align with the background image of color section.

    In case of #2, what I want is to control the placement of the text block. I’m OK NOT to have the person’s image (part of color section background) in the mobile version of sections at all, just the KEY elements. It’s all pretty much the same as #1, except that I’m ready to compromise and not have person’s image at all, and let text blocks appear on other part of color section background (not the person’s face or body, or a chair etc). I don’t want any overlays with textured objects, that’s why I designed the background picture this way (1/3 person, 2/3 plain background for text)

    Thank you for your help!

    PS I: the CSS destroyed the alignment of the desktop version of the page.
    PS II: All my designs on this page fall apart on the mobile devices.

    in reply to: problem with "Responsive" option #620432

    Hi! I would like to have these two possibilities when viewed on mobile device (phone, tablet etc) :

    1) “responsive site” is turned OFF – same look as on laptop/desktop with possibility to zoom in. Is is possible ?

    2) “responsive site” is ON – text doesn’t get to the part of photo with texture (example bellow). I’m OK NOT to have the person’s image in the mobile version of this section at all, just don’t want to heave text on the person’s face. How do I control the text placement for mobile versions of this section?

    Thank you!

    in reply to: Advanced Layer Slider – video (background) slide #618610

    I would like advanced slider behave the same way, scale and be the same size as my color section (video background), resize together depending on the browser window dimensions and viewer’s device.
    Circled in red spot is a part of different sections. It’s not supposed to get to the color section (video background). However, they it’s sliding over to the color section (video background) while the advanced slider section gets reduced in size. Color section (video background) behaves differently and scales automatically depending of the size of browser window.

    in reply to: Scaling in Advanced Layerslider #618597

    Do I have to purchase it separately ?
    Can I test drive it somewhere and see all the functionalities?

    in reply to: Advanced Layer Slider – video (background) slide #616718

    The section which comes after the slider overlays with the color section. Here are a few versions of it:

    in reply to: Advanced Layer Slider – video (background) slide #614762

    Hi Vinay,
    I have a problem scaling advanced slider with my color section (video background). “100% of browser window height” leaves some empty spaces, custom pixel size does a better job, but in both cases advanced slider and color section (video background)don’t align together. When I change the browser window size it becomes a mess. Color section stays the same size, but everything else decreases.
    Thanks for your help!

    in reply to: sidebar, footer and header styling #614150

    Thank you!

    1)

    Here in this example, in the original DEMO
    – When hovered over text changes color to orange.
    – When selected the font changes color (white) and size (becomes bold and wider)

    This code from post#608817 overwrites the original settings:

    ul.nested_nav a {
        font-size: 14px;
        color: red !important;
    }

    What do I do to keep original settings in place or to control them ?

    2) This code changed the color of menu indicator, but when sub-menu opens, it looks like this (1/3 new color, 2/3 old color):

    3) Can I title the sidebar, in other words write something on top of main sidebar menu (circled in red – post#605143) ?

    in reply to: main menu font type #609689

    Clearer, thank you !

    Can I just name each for weight individually like this (where I name each font+wight separately) and NOT use Quick CSS:
    $fonts[‘PT Sans700’] = ‘PT Sans:700’;
    $fonts[‘PT Sans400’] = ‘PT Sans:400’;

    And not like this , where all wights specified at once:
    $fonts[‘PT Sans’] = ‘PT Sans:400,700,400italic,700italic’;

    Sorry for being annoying :)

    in reply to: main menu font type #609672

    Sorry, I’m confused now.
    Where do I specify the font’s name ? I would like them all to appear in settings->”advanced styling ”
    Is it necessary to use this code for Quick CSS when I already edited functions.php file with this entries:
    $fonts[‘Cardo 400italic’] = ‘Cardo:400italic’;
    $fonts[‘PT Sans Narrow 400’] = ‘PT Sans Narrow:400’;
    $fonts[‘PT Sans700’] = ‘PT Sans:700’;
    $fonts[‘PT Sans400’] = ‘PT Sans:400’;

    ?
    Thank you for your help!

    in reply to: main menu font type #609663

    Can I just do it as written in post #609645 ?

    in reply to: main menu font type #609656

    2) Andy wrote “You can’t select a specific font to style in advanced styling settings”. What I meant is that I want to be able to select each weight font in the styling settings. How do I achieve that ?
    Do I name and write out each one individually, like I did in post my post #609645 ?

    in reply to: main menu font type #609645

    Hi!

    1) How do I specify multiple fonts at once ?

    add_filter( 'avf_google_heading_font', 'avia_add_heading_font');
    function avia_add_heading_font($fonts)
    {
    $fonts['Cardo 400italic'] = 'Cardo:400italic';
    $fonts['PT Sans Narrow 400'] = 'PT Sans Narrow:400';
    $fonts['PT Sans700'] = 'PT Sans:700';
    $fonts['PT Sans400'] = 'PT Sans:400';
    return $fonts;
    }

    add_filter( 'avf_google_content_font', 'avia_add_content_font');
    function avia_add_content_font($fonts)
    {

    $fonts['Cardo 400italic'] = 'Cardo:400italic';
    $fonts['PT Sans Narrow 400'] = 'PT Sans Narrow:400';
    $fonts['PT Sans700'] = 'PT Sans:700';
    $fonts['PT Sans400'] = 'PT Sans:400';
    return $fonts;
    }

    Correct ?

    in reply to: sidebar, footer and header styling #609113

    2) Thanks, I’ve put “!important” next to color and it worked. How do I change the background color when active/selected ?

    4) I think I found all the options I was looking for except for color. Where do I specify the color of “active menu indicator” ?

    in reply to: main menu font type #609108

    1) Not sure what to do with this 2 lines:
    $fonts[‘PT Sans Narrow’] = ‘PT Sans Narrow:400,700’; ( I changed this to $fonts[‘Cardo 400italic’] = ‘Cardo:400italic’; )
    $fonts[‘PT Sans’] = ‘PT Sans:400,700,400italic,700italic’; ( I erased this line )

    Is this the correct way (below) ?

    add_filter( 'avf_google_heading_font', 'avia_add_heading_font');
    function avia_add_heading_font($fonts)
    {
    $fonts['Cardo 400italic'] = 'Cardo:400italic';
    return $fonts;
    }

    add_filter( 'avf_google_content_font', 'avia_add_content_font');
    function avia_add_content_font($fonts)
    {

    $fonts['Cardo 400italic'] = 'Cardo:400italic';
    return $fonts;
    }

    2) Can I make it selectable by writing out and naming each font weight individually ?

    in reply to: sidebar, footer and header styling #607963

    Thank you for your reply!

    2) The text enlargement did work, but the color didn’t

    4) I actually mostly meant the framed + see-though header styling and yellow underlining of main menu. Sorry for not being clear.

    in reply to: background color of menu in sticky/shrinking header #607901

    Hey! The background field was always empty. But when I accessed this menu and saved it without editing, it fixed the issue. Thank you!

    in reply to: background color of menu in sticky/shrinking header #607872

    Unfortunately, it didn’t fix it for me. I might be doing something wrong. I just would like to get get rid of this grey background under the main menu. Thanks for your assistance!
