Hi,
So I did what you have asked. I removed the previous negative top margin and added a code block with the code you provided and now it looks the way that I wanted.
Thanks!
Hi,
That will only bring it up and not to the left side. The other problem is that if I apply the margins, when I view the website on a smaller screen, the heading is off the page!
Please advice.
Thanks,
Amin
Hi,
Nothing was getting modified so I changed the file permission for enfold.css (in my case it is enfold_child.css) to 775 and it worked fine!
I am not sure but I think the group should have write access that’s why it was not writing to the file and once I changed it to 775 it worked! So the file permissions for my folders from the upload to the css file are:
uploads(755)/dynamic_avia(755)/enfold_child.css(775)Thanks,
Amin
Hi,
Yes the elements work fine. I tried to change the layout to boxed layout to see if that is working and it worked fine! But nothing under General Styling works!
I have also tried it with all plugins deactivated but there was no luck.
Just a question, does this writes to a file or a database? because if it is writing to a file then I can check the modified time to see if that file is getting modified at all or no?Please advice.
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked that and I dont have caching on on my server.

Hi,
I am using digital ocean as my server so I am responsible of my own server. My server uses nginx. Can you please let me know what do I have to check to see if I use cache or no?
Thanks,

That fixed the problem!
It is not 100% nice looking like the example but it is good.
I hope we get this feature in future updates to create headings with background colors that only covers the space behind the text. Thanks,
Amin

Thanks for the quick respond. Sorry I didn’t describe it in a good way.
I was searching for an image sample to show here and just found the one from the jquery slider :-) sorry for that.
I don’t want a slider. I just want to add a heading text to my front page but with that styling.Amin
Thanks Yigit! Now it looks better with the background behind it.

Sorry, it did not solve the problem.
Please advice.

Hi Ismael,
1. I have done that but there is some margin on the left side of the logo. I want to have margin-left to be 0.
2. Because I had some quick css applied before, now when I delete those css codes, my website looks the same as after the css rules applied! does quick css writes to a file?
Update: I have found that answer to #2. The quick css writes to uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold-child.css. So In order to delete the rules I applied earlier in this topic, do I need to modify the css file or there is a built in way in the theme menu?thanks,
Amin

Hi,
OK. Since I cannot do that, Can I have the logo stick to the left size and background to cover all the width behind the logo?
So all the time the logo stays on left side (0px margin-left) and at the same time behind the logo, the bachground is 100% width.
Here is an image about what I mean:Just so you know, the quick css code looks like this now:
.home .header_bg { background: none !important; } #header_main_alternate{background-color:white;} .header_color .header_bg { background-size: contain; background-position: 100% 50%; }
Thanks,
Amin

This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
Thanks for the code. It is working for when I expand it but on the left side, It works when the width of the screen is >= 1449 px. When I make it less, It goes to the left side of the logo.
Please advice.Thanks,
Amin
Yes it is not on the home page now but there is two problems:
1. The background is also showing behinde the navigation but I added the following Quick CSS and it fixed it but I am not sure if I did it the right way:#header_main_alternate{background-color:white;}
2. I want the background to start after the logo (at the right side of the logo) and expands/stretches if I change the windows width.

Thanks! Solved the issue.
Thanks for that. I was trying to see how this will look. Now I have to try the same for having a full width background and from my first trying it had the same result.
I will open another ticket soon once my boss confirms the full with body layout.
Thanks again.

My image is large. It is 1919 × 230px. But I am not sure why the theme shrinks it down.
This reply has been marked as private.Hi @Arvish,
I have tried the thing that you told me and the header does not go beyond 600px width.
The thing is, I was aiming to have a header image on top and the menu below it. and having the logo at the top left of the header image. So the header image will be the background of the logo like the image bellow:
But then I thought about having another plan if the design that I am aiming is not possible with enfold theme so I created the following design:
If the first design is possible, it would be amazing! Please advice and thanks in advance.
