It was a cloudflare problem. I disabled it and now the css runs properly and the site looks how it should
Please see my post from 5 days ago where I said
“I just tried that css and changed the colour to a bright green but it is still blue. I did clear the cache (several times) but no joy…”
I know how to clear the cache and have done that several times. i have tried deleting the cache through wp rocket as well as through the browser.
I’m not sure what you mean/ The burger does not show on my mobile, on my partner’s mobile or on chrome or firefox when I reduce the window size. At the moment the burger does show on the desktop view, when I have set it to not show. The header settings are already set to “Let logo and menu position adapt to browser window” as is recommended in the document you linked to,

Firefox is showing the old version too. I’m just not seeing the header version you are seeing. This is SO confusing!
I don’t know what else to do. I have done all of what you suggested and there has been no change. I tried deactivating all my plugins too to see if that would help and it did nothing. I am still seeing the old version.
Any other ideas please?
I have done that now Jordan and there has been no change. The box does not change colour. For some reason the desktop view has the burger in the corner of the screen and the mobile view of the page does not show the burger at all. I did open a separate thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/burger-settings-not-working/ on this but no-one seems to be replying to that one whereas this one has had some suggestions made but I am still no closer to a solution.
I got some support here to change the width of drop down menus https://kriesi.at/support/topic/cant-make-drop-down-menu-wider/ but now when I edit those numbers nothing happens on the front end.
I also tried changing the font size in buttons after having read this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/button-font-size/ but the css.avia-button {
font-size: 16px!important;
}Isn’t changing the button font size. It seems that there is something deeper going on here. Would you please take a look and see if you can figure out why none of my edits are resulting in change. I really don’t want to consider changing theme because it would be a nightmare but as things stand I cange get my site looking how I want it so I am now seriously considering it.

Seems it was the contact page messing things up. I deleted it from the navigation and added it again and the problem went. Cool
Just updated the version of the theme and it has all changed now. Thanks for the css
I disabled all cache plugins, contacted the host and there is no varnish cache, tried opening the page in an incognito window and no change at all at my end
I just tried that css and changed the colour to a bright green but it is still blue. I did clear the cache (several times) but no joy…
Thanks so much for that. I had no idea! I’m now struggling to see how I change the colour of the button, could you help with tweaking that please?
Just tried it and there was no effect. I have purged the cache and also tried increasing the size to 900px but still no change
Thanks Victoria but the place I want to remove the date from is from the widget as I have added this to the bottom of my homepage but the posts it is showing are old and I want this hidden. I just checked and the way my blog page is set up is also through the blog widget so the same problem is there too. Any ideas on how to edit that?
Problem solved – close the thread. Thanks
Perfect! Thanks!!
Correction….it os showing it as a sub section of a different element. Looks like we are all good. Thanks for your support
I have put the code in where you said but the structured data testing tool is not showing it in its report on my /reviews page. It isn’t showing any errors either though
page ID is 9162
Thanks for your help Yigit! Here is the content for the footer http://pastebin.com/VYiPakNG
I can put content in and save it and when I refresh the page I just edited it still shows the other content. The problem did affect all 3 footer columns and I tried saving the same content in all three (many times!) and for some reason the content in column 3 has stayed but it won’t stick to columns 1 and 2
Ah right, maybe wordfence is set to block people from other countries. Forgot all about that.
It is strange that the code is working for you but when I check it on chrome and edge it shows that no change has happened…I am not sure where all my custom CSS is…. I have copied all the quick Css from general styling and this is here: http://pastebin.com/eFU3xfY8 If there is CSS elsewhere. Not sure why you got denied access to the site but set you us as a new user, details below ;-)
Just tried that but it had no effect :-(
Oops! Sorry about that! Second time lucky….
Thanks for that. Will do it now. Do you have any information as to why this has happened? It seems to be affecting some pages but not all. It would be useful to know what to do (or not do!) to avoid this problem in the future.

September 22, 2015 at 12:47 pm in reply to: Stop testimonials moving rest of page up and down #506978Thanks for the link Josue. I have tried playing around with the minimum height and have had some success with the mobile view of the site (which was where most of the problem was) but the way to fix the mobile situation was to make the minimum 450px. This however means that there is a huge whitespace when I look at the page on my laptop. Is there any way to get a balance between the two?
Thanks for your help and supportSeptember 21, 2015 at 7:00 pm in reply to: Stop testimonials moving rest of page up and down #506618Hi Rikard,
No, not fixed unfortunately. I did edit the formatting of the reviews to make them uniform and deleted any that were over 2 lines long (on my laptop screen) but on a mobile the 2 lines are more and the variety does make lower content move up and down.
I have added a test review which is smaller to be able to illustrate the movement on a full size screen. Hopefully that will help you in figuring out how to stop it.
If you do figure out what to do to fix it could you let me know so I can apply the same technique to other pages where this happens. Thanks
