September 2, 2017 at 1:24 am in reply to: Default Gallery Bug – Images in Gallery Don't Respond on Hover or Click #847035
Dear Victoria,
I have tried toggling the “Lightbox Modal Window” on the Enfold theme options and have even tried toggling the Jetpack media viewing options (“Display images and galleries in a gorgeous, full-screen browsing experience”), but neither resolves the issue with the hover on the default galleries.
I’ll keep working at this end, but if you have any ideas, please let me know.
Cheers,

TimAugust 22, 2017 at 4:19 pm in reply to: Featured Image Bigger than Actual Image + Gallery Thumbnails Way Too Small #842635Dear All,
Problem solved! I used the plugin “Regenerate Thumbnails” and that did the trick.
Thank you again Mike and Victoria for your help with the CSS!

TimAugust 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Featured Image Bigger than Actual Image + Gallery Thumbnails Way Too Small #842032Dear Victoria,
Excellent! Thank you. That solved the size problem… BUT!, now I’ve got distorted thumbnails, as you can see here or here.
The question is: how do I bulk change the thumbnails to link to the proper image? In the media setting the thumbnails are 300 x 300, but somehow the thumbnails were ‘hardwired’ to a very tiny image. (No idea how or why that is.)
Any and all help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Cheers,
Tim

TimAugust 19, 2017 at 4:50 pm in reply to: Featured Image Bigger than Actual Image + Gallery Thumbnails Way Too Small #841302Dear Mike,
Thank you. That solves the Featured Image part, but not the thumbnails in galleries. (Please see previous links.)
Please advise.

TimAugust 19, 2017 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Featured Image Bigger than Actual Image + Gallery Thumbnails Way Too Small #841278PS I am using the plugin Simple Image sizes to reset the thumbnail size, but it has no affect.
PPS This is error is true through the website: thumbnails too small, featured image often larger than the image itself. Here is another example:- This reply was modified 7 years, 3 months ago by hypergolica.

The shortcode for my gallery now looks like this:
[gallery link="file" ids="427,425,423,421,419,417" size="large"]
I removed the custom CSS… but, as you can see, the problem persists. In fact, it is worse than before:
The active plugins on the site are:
– Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters
– Advanced Custom Fields
– Akismet Anti-Spam
– Gravity Forms
– Gravity Forms Logging Add-On
– Gravity Forms MailChimp Add-On
– Jetpack by WordPress.com
– Simple Image Sizes
– Tracking Code ManagerI doubt any of those are the culprit. What can we try next?
Many thanks,
Tim

Please feel free to deactivate plugins as needed.

Thank you for the reply. I’m running 4.0.2, which I believe is the latest, right? I’ll run the scan again to see what happens. I’ll report back soon.

January 31, 2017 at 1:47 pm in reply to: On Submit of Gravity Form, Page Anchors to Top and Not at the Start of the Form #740615Dear Basilis,
I am shocked by such an unhelpful response, especially given the information I provided and the ubiquitous use of Gravity Forms.
I had imagined it would be in the interest of the Enfold community to have an available solution for this. My mistake.
Regards,
Tim

September 21, 2016 at 3:22 pm in reply to: Turn Off Logo, Just Show Title of Website as Text #689866Dear Jordan,
When I do that, I get the following error:Fatal error: Cannot redeclare kriesi_logo_addition() (previously declared in /home/american/www/www/plog/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/functions.php:9) in /home/american/www/www/plog/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/functions.php on line 18
I think the “Company Name” and get_bloginfo(‘name’) need to reside in the same add_filter snippet. I’m just not sure how to do that.
Please advise.
Thank you,
TimSeptember 21, 2016 at 12:25 pm in reply to: Turn Off Logo, Just Show Title of Website as Text #689739Hello Yigit!
Many thanks. What I don’t see is the code that allows me to put the site title + the subtext (it’s either adding subtext to logo or remove logo and add title, but no: remove logo and add title and subtext). Can you help?
Thank you.
Cheers,
TimDear All,
It look like this is a problem the plugin author is aware and will be fixed in the next release of the plugin.
Here is my post requesting support on the Polylang WordPress page:

Many thanks for the reply, Basilis. I’ve checked the settings but can’t find anything that might give me a fix. I’ve put in a support request with Polylang. If I get an answer from them then I’ll be sure to report back.
Cheers,
Tim
Thank you, Rikard. In the end, I had to update via FTP.

June 11, 2016 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Advanced Layout Builder Mystery: Loads Fine on One Computer, 'Spins' on Another #646574Dear Rikard,
I updated to Enfold 3.6.1, but no luck. With all plugins activated, the Advanced Layout Builder just spins.
However, if I deactivate the Gravity forms plugin, it works.
Cheers,
Tim
June 9, 2016 at 12:16 am in reply to: Advanced Layout Builder Mystery: Loads Fine on One Computer, 'Spins' on Another #645147Hi Basilis,
Thanks for your help. I’ve identified the culprit: it’s the Gravity Forms plugin… and it’s their latest version: Gravity Forms v1.9.19
You might want to have a look at your end.
Thanks,
Tim
June 8, 2016 at 5:52 pm in reply to: Advanced Layout Builder Mystery: Loads Fine on One Computer, 'Spins' on Another #644976Dear Support,
Quick update: it’s now also doing it on my Macbook Air. :-(
Very strange!
I’m running Enfold 3.6 and WordPress 4.5.2 on OS X El Capitan 10.11.5
Thanks again for your help.
Tim
Dear All,
I figured out the problem: it was the Shortcode Exec PHP plugin (which is actually deprecated.)
The plugin that can take its place: Add Shortcodes Actions And Filters
Thank you Rikard and Vinay for your help.
Cheers,
Tim
Dear Rikard,
Another discovery: when I go to edit the home page, I just get a spinning wheel, but no content. See link to screenshot. Clearly there is a conflict somewhere.
Thanks for your help.
Tim
Dear Rikard,
Any news from your end?
Many thanks,
Tim
