    Dont you have a wordpress-installation with Enfold activated to try what i asked for?

    wouldnt it be a good idea to trust your customers instead of thinking that they are to incompetent to tell if its a theme-issue or a clients mistake?
    Why dont you just check what shortcodes you changed?

    I see.
    Support doesnt go further than helping with Enfold bugs.
    That makes sense, since there are so many.

    I mean (and thats obvious when you had read my post) that now the metadata (alt attributes on images and so on) when using a masonry galery do not show up like before.
    and this really bugs me

    i found around line 311 this:

			$params['content'] 	 = NULL; //remove to allow content elements
			return $params;

    Whatever i do here has NO influence at all.
    Neither on the post, nor category or any other place.

    Maybe i didnt explain correct what the task is:
    “WHEREEVER a featured image usualy is used – take a thumbshot instead”
    Whereever means: Everywhere! (Category, grid, post, search,….)

    There must be a constant somewhere which probably could be replaced by the metafield-data.
    Or am i wrong?

    how to do that with a Child-Theme?
    Do i need to establish the whole structure in my child-themes folder:
    childtheme/config-templatebuilder/aviashortcodes/postslider/postslider.php ?

    Or do i have to put “postslider.php” directly in “childtheme/”

    Hi Peter
    i changed the code now to “get template part” and it seems to work.
    But my tool “Query Monitor” tells me always i am on “enfold-child/single.php”
    This is wrong since this is only the place where the query is tweaked/splitted.
    Do you know a tool thats shows me which template part is used?
