Thanks – It looks like the custom css file is being overridden when I update the theme. Is the best solution for this to install a child theme?
Hello,
I attached the temp login and password below. Please do not update things before letting me know about “I also have some custom css in the folder /wp-content/themes/enfold/css/custom.css. Will this delete once I update the theme?”
Thanks
I went ahead and added the custom class “footer_left” to the footer text element but it does’t seem to adjust the position.
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { /* Privacy Left Mobile*/ .footer_left .flex_column.av_one_third. .avia_textblock p { text-align: left !important; } }
Thanks for this ismael, I tried adding that code and it didn’t work. I than tried to add a css and custom id but that didn’t work either. I named the class av_section_5.
Hi @mike, thanks for the explanation. How would I got about changing the font as well?
I will pass this off to the plugin developer.
I added that code @mike but the issue still persists.
Thanks for the feedback and support @mike. I think for now I will just have the menu item hover underline instead of adding the php. and have the item always underlined. It seems when I add the following code the item will underline will hover and the page jumps correctly and the item underlines when hovered.
#sub_menu1 #menu-main-menu a:hover { display: inline-block; visibility: visible; border-bottom: 2px solid #fff; background: transparent !important; opacity: 1; padding-bottom: 6px; }
I did notice the logo I added to the submenu though now changes size when I hover when the code above is added. How do I make that not happen? I created a video of the issue.
This is the code I added from another thread to add the logo to the full width submenu
#top .av-submenu-container { background-image: url(https://trevora9.sg-host.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/logo_t.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: 0% 50%; background-size: contain; }
Thanks for this @mike. That code does do the job. Is there a way to have the menu item underline when the mouse hovers over it?
I have also noticed a couple differences/ issues with the sub menu now I have some questions about.
1.I do noticed that the scroll/ jump to section is not as smooth now with the new php. Do you happen to know why that is?
2. The menu does not stick the same way with the new php. I’m guessing this is the effect the new php creates?I created a video of the issue which I shared in private.

Thank you! The code didn’t work in the enfold css but did when I added it under appearance / customize.
@mike I just reactivated the enfold theme.
HI @ismael,
Thanks for the reply.
When the gif loads there is still a black line under the gif in your screenshot. Are you able to see that? That is the error the enfold theme in producing. It has nothing to do with the rollover text but instead has to do with the gif image that loads. Again The issue is not the “GIF TEXT” Text is when I hover over that the gif loads. I changed the “GIF TEXT” to “Click Here” so things wont be confused.
So now when I hover over “Click Here” the gif with the cat will load. Under the cat gif there is a black bar at the bottom of the loaded gif. Enfold is producing that black bar under the loaded gif image. I need to get that removed.
Here is a your screenshot with the issue circled https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxvyy9ltx91y07v/Screen%20Shot%202021-10-01%20at%208.15.49%20AM.png?dl=0
I went ahead and changed the rollover text so you can hopefully see the issue better now.
Hi @yigit
I went ahead and made the change but the black line is still under the gif in the enfold theme. I cleared the cache and tried in a new browser as well but the issue persists.

@guenni007 Weird. As you can see on my page I have those setting but have the black bars on the top and bottom. Maybe enfold support can shed some light on this?

The recommendation you provided works with youtube but not with self hosted which is what I’m planning on using seeing it plays on mobile automatically unlike youtube I made an example of how it looks with self hosted with those settings..
Please advise
@guenni007 Here is a link
Hi Ismael,
I have tried that already. When the aspect ratio is set to the default 16:9 there is black space (more actually than if I change the ratio). I changed the aspect ratio to try and remove the black space. I was able to reduce the black space by setting it to the above amount t but no matter what combination I try there is sill black space. Please Advise on how to completely remove the black space.
