    Dear Ismael,

    thanks for your answer! I would never have guessed I had to look into that direction. As I don’t need any media translation, I deactivated “Media” in Polylang without changing anything else, and this did the trick!

    Dear Guenni007,

    thanks for your answer! Mentioning that it’s a setting in Polylang helped me search for it!
    If anybody needs that, you can find it here:

    Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays: A static page, then choose the page you want.

    (Auf Deutsch:
    Einstellungen -> Lesen -> Deine Homepage zeigt: Eine statische Seite, dann die entsprechende Homepage auswählen)
