I’ve been in contact with Themeforest & have finally recovered my old account details.
I downloaded the Enfold update & attempted to install it using the recommended theme update plugin but am getting this error‘The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.’
I read you can change the upload limit of the php.ini file but having looked in my C panel file manager & attempting to search via ftp, I can’t find it.
Yes I have backups of my site.

Deactivated all plugins & found Jetpack > Speed up your site > serve images from our servers – to be causing the image quality issue.

Thanks for the reply.
I have added the code to my child functions.php – increased compression to 100%
Regenerated my thumbnails
Re-uploaded another high resolution image (of a woman wearing jewellery) in the correct size (1500 x 430) to full width easy slider
Cleared my my browser cache
But on my screen the slider is still rendering the womans skin as pixelated.
If you view the uploaded image in Media it is sharp – with no pixelation on the skin.
It seems something happens to quality of the image once it’s uploaded to the slider.

This work around may have got the slider to display – but the slider element is still not fully functional because the first slide will not display.
Could it be a theme bug? I’ve been using Enfold for couple of years & have never had this problem.Sincerely

MelanieUpdate: I’ve discovered when you add more images to the slider, it becomes visible on the front end – but it does not display the first slide.
The 2 slides that are there (which are the same) were created at the same from scratch using newly uploaded images.
I’ve also discovered that when I add the symbols >> to the SHOP NOW button eg SHOP NOW >>, it prevents the slide from displaying on the front end.
So there appears to be a theme coding problem somewhere?Thanks for the reply.
I have deleted the slide, saved, updated the page & then re-created the slide as requested – but the slider is still not showing.
There have not been any recent security changes with my host provide.
Please advise.Sincerely

The error in the console is not showing up on my end.
I’ve also tried disabling all plugins but the slider will still not show – still shows the code, tries to load, but nothing on the front end.
All programs/ plugins are up to date
This was working a few a days ago.
Could you please log into my admin panel & check as I’m at a loss as to how to fix this problem.Sincerely

I’ve got no idea why or how, but since you’ve added this element, it’s now all working on my end too (& yes I had tried the settings you used & cleared the cache etc ). Go figure!Thank you very much :)
By the way the bright pink was an interesting colour choice!

Thanks for your reply. Not sure what to make of that then as it’s still not displaying properly for me when I add that element to the Homepage. Interestingly when I tried adding a colour section element to a brand new page it worked. Does that mean there’s a code conflict somewhere on the Homepage?
I have the same problem with my Blog.
On the 10/12 Yigit posted the update would ready at the end of that week – which has come & gone.

I have replaced the existing code with one you sent, cleared my cache however I still cannot see debug view.
What I’m trying to do is create multiple image galleries inside an Accordion on a single page using the Advanced Layout Builder.
I’ve never actually used or seen Debug view in action so maybe I’m missing something?

Just checked the actual slider element as suggested & yes you were absolutely right – the short codes are being added to the Caption text.
Is there a work around or will I have just have to manually delete the code in this field each time I upload a new image to the Easy slider?Kind Regards

Hi Devin,
The code is only showing over the top of any new images that I load into Homepage > Avia Layout> Easy slider> Save> Preview. It doesn’t show over the top of the pre-existing images in Easy slider that were loaded a few months ago (prior to updates).

Thanks for the quick response. I think that is going to be too fiddly for my sisters liking so I think we might just leave it for now.
I have run into issues with the advanced editor though. If I add elements using the advanced editor, for instance a slider and then want to add layout elements say 1/3 I am unable to edit them in advanced editor. So I tried switching back to the default editor and no code is displayed at all. I tried using the shortcode to add the 1/3 which worked but took away everything else I had already added. Is this a known issue?
