    Hi Mike!

    First of all I really want to thank you for all the support!

    I tried the code (it´s still included in General Styling > Quick CSS field), but nothing chanced. I am off now. Therefore you won´t experience any interference ;-)

    Best regards

    With the proceedure I described in the last pos,t I got some things sorted out .As a non-coder I am just unsure if this is the right approach… any hint to make those things more intelligent is welcome.

    But one problem remains: If you apply sticky header and shrinking header it does not work properly: The menu with black background vanishes/blends into the #header-main

    Hi Mike!

    Thank you for your time. You understood everything correct.

    1. In non-sticky and sticky menu, the logo-area should be #d22328 and menu-area should be 0,0,0,1.

    – This I somehow managed via “General Styling” settings by uploadimg a BG image for the Logo Area, where the BG image is smaller than the #header_main. So defined Background-color for the Logo Area shows up

    2. The transparency of the menu area is only necessary on certain pages, where I use a slider in conjunction with a transparent header function like for example on .home. But as you will notice this does not work properly with sticky menu and rezising of window.

    Harry

    I found a workaround and it looks as expected, but it does not work with sticky-menu option and leaves a white background when using Header visibility and transparency option: no transparency etc.

    #header_main {
        background: url("//riegelmedia.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/header-bg-2.png"), none repeat scroll 0 0;
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    }

    As you can see, I simply made a semitransparent .png, which does not have the full hight of header_mai,n but only 90px and this I made repeat-x.

    Any better suggestion for clean, valid code to achieve the result and keeping the options all working?

    Correct – The Fullwith Sub-Menu elemen BENEATH the layer-slider.

    I forgot to mention: Thanks for your support! :-)

    Thanks for the quick answer :-)

    In the private content (beneath) you will find the link to the website.

    The sub-menu I talk about, which should vanish on mobile devices, is located right on the index-page under the layerslider at the top.

    No such cache on host all-inkl.com. It must be something in the database.
    Did you try the ftp?

    If you do not find a solution inside ftp, I will simply export the pages, clean the database and reinstall everything and import pages again.

    in reply to: New font for h1 and h2 #681651

    I solved the problem – it was a simple error in the syntax:

    I simply overlooked the missing forward slash / in the beginning of the src, right in front of fonts/

    Now it´s working :-)

    in reply to: Scrolling .png overlay over all elements #679063

    Thank you for your great support. It looks better already – I also decided to switch to boxed layout.

    Unfortunately the curtain-image is still trapped inside the main-content and to make it appear OVER main-content and body is not possible yet…

    Another question: How can I make the header .widget dissappear at a certain min. width? This is important as on mobile devices and a certain screen-size it “floats” in container, hides logo an menu-parts and looks irritating.

    Thanks for help :-)

    in reply to: Scrolling .png overlay over all elements #679009

    A quik thought: Should I divide the curtain-png in two separate images and place them left and right outside of the container? How can I do this?

    in reply to: Scrolling .png overlay over all elements #679002

    Hi Rikard!

    Thank you for the friendly support!

    I tried it out and it worked somehow… but the curtain-png (which has a width: of 1920px; hight: 320px) is trapped inside the set maximum-container-width and does not stretch 100% fullscreen as usually planed.

    Any idea?

    Hello Vinay,

    it worked – Thanks :-)

    Just for my understanding: Why did this problem occur originaly? Small bug or did I somehow missed a setting?
