Well – that did not work….
I really am beyond frustrated with the help I’ve received so far. I’m not really even sure if my posts are read. I’ve tried all the code you guys have offered but nothing changes. I tried entering this last code into Quick CSS and into the Appearance / Editor / Style.css. Cleared the cache and it’s all still the same. And…the Amenities page has no hover/active state on the sidebar at all. The screen shot that Mike posted above is correct. That is how it should function for all the pages. The Amenities page is pulling a widget into the sidebar so that might be why it is not working at all. Here is Mike’s screen shot again.

This has been ongoing since Sept 6th. Doesn’t seem like the Enfold theme should be that difficult. Please help!
I added that to both the Quick CSS and then tried style.css – neither worked. It’s currently in the quick css.
THank you for the tip. Yes, all the text (except header and blockquote and links in the text) needs to be #444. Thank you.
Not any more. I added your code into the into Appearance / Editor / Style.css rather than into Theme Options / General Styling and that seemed to work. How do you know where to add your code? It seems some code works on the Style.css part and other code works in General Styling. It’s all very confusing. Also text modificaitons to H tag seem to work sometimes in the Advanced Styling, while often it has to be added in either one of the two CSS sections I listed above. Really trying to figure out an efficient work flow on mods instead of trial and error every time I build a site in Enfold. This is my 5th one and I still don’t have it dialed in. LOL.
In regards to the screen shots I posted above…still having the color issue.
Thanks!
Here is a screen shot.

http://fab.0bb.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Amenities.pngHere are screen shots of the mobile and regular version of the home page. All the text, not including the header, is #444 but on mobile, the text is all showing up as the same color as the header….

http://fab.0bb.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Home-Page-Mobile-1.pngNevermind – I got it worked out. Thanks.
Yes, but on mobile, the H2 to is showing up as ALL Caps and it should just be regular Initial caps….
I would like to do this as well. I do not see how to extend one footer column to be the full width of the page or how to add a section right above the footer….
I guess I’m not communicating very well. The issue is still there. The hover and active state should be exaclty the same. Please go to the site and look at the side bar. I feel like I’ve been going back and forth with this for days. There must be a better way to get my issue across. I appreciate all of your help, but this is time consuming.
Victoria – I need the hover state to be the same as the active state. You gave me an underline and changing the color to gray. As stated above, I need the background of the link to be white and the text #33827a and all the other text links just white. So no underlining.
UPDATE: I’ve managed to get the background white and the text #33827a – but please take a look. The white background hover state is not reaching to the left edge like the active state is. How can I fix that?

Thank Victoria – but that did not work. Any other suggestions? I’ve left the code in there if you want to take a look at the results.
Thanks Victoria, but the active state needs to be white as well. That’s what my message above stated…..
Okay – Looks like I figured it out by deleting the menu items in one of my menus I created and then added them back in. YAY! However, Now I realize I don’t have an active state for the footer links. Active state should just be #fff but I need the CSS code because I can’t find the selector for a hover state. :)
Thanks Mike. This is great, but there is still no hover state…..which should be the same as the active state.
Thank you! I found the culprit. I removed it and it seems good however, the menu icon now shows up under the logo (it should show to the right of the logo) and when you click it, it opens the navigation, but I cannot get to any of the nested navigation….and there are now two scroll bars….
Thanks for the reply, but that did not work. Take a look at the site now and see what your code did. Now the all the text is white so you can’t see the text when in the Active State and the hover state of being underlined does not work….
I guess when it the link is active, the background should be white and the text #33827a and all the other links just white. So no underlining. I made a mistake there.

I am still looking for an answer or guidance on this. Can’t seem to find anything via searches other than custom CSS, but I don’t really want to do it that way. Modifying text/font attributes in sidebars should be included with Enfold,
I figured out the issue. It was a widget I had in the footer and I needed to assign items to the menu. :)
You are the best! Thank you. :)
Wonderful! Thank you.
I have one more question. When I run a test for Smart Phones, the navigation overlays the logo. How can I just have the navigation show up via the little box in the upper right hand corner, that when clicked on, will display all the navigation?Worked great! Thank you. :)
Yes, thank you. I want to add the button that enfold has built into their Advanced Layout Editor. There used to be a way to grab the shortcode from this editor, but I don’t see it as an option anymore. I don’t want to build a button using my own HTML. This should not be that difficult but all the solutions on this support forum seem outdated. I’m going on day 3 of trying to figure this out. Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Hi – Thank you. So, from what I can see, there is no way to add shortcode to a text widget in the sidebar blog section.
And I also changed the H2 tag in the advanced styling, that is associated with the lead in sentence on the home page. It is supposed to be Merriweather font and a #320000. It was working, but now it isn’t. :( Cache has been cleaned out a zillion times and browser cache too.
I’m stumped as to the General and Advanced Styling. I spent hours getting everything formatted and it looked great. Then I went and created a modified blockquote through the Advanced Styling. When I did this, the colors did not come out right and it changed font colors on other things. This is just one page. I really need someone to take a look.
The Blockquote on the home page should all be #f7ecd2 (orange) and then the headers for the video and image below, should be #cb0000 (light beige)
Additionaly, when I try to bold text, it turns it from the standard brown I have for all the copy to the #f7ecd2 (orange).
I really do not understand how I am not able to understand why this is happening. I’ve scoured through blog posts, and the entire backend of Enfold. It can’t be this difficult. Please help.

Ok – I’m sorry, I’ve gone in and changed the navigation to have an orange color on hover, installed a cache plugin, cleared my browser cache and I still don’t see my changes…..
And also, if I have a sidebar, how to I adjust background, font & links for that?
