Hey Mike – it works!
(It is as it always is: What you don’t know it’s difficult. What you do know it’s easy!)No more questions here!
Thank you very much!!!Best regards
GrobiHi Ismael,
next try to explain my issue ;-).On the screenshot (I matched three situations in one picture) you can see how the cursor of my Mac reacts when
• the mouse rolls over a text-link – text is going to be green and a “hand-symbol” appears, showing the visitor “you can click here”
• the mouse rolls over a scroll-picture – “hand-symbol” appears again and indicates that you can click here
• the mouse rolls over a color-section, which is clickable, but the pointer remains in its normal black state – this is what I want to have a “hand-symbol” as wellHere is the screenshot:
I hope this may help.Best regards
GrobiHey Mike,
thanks for answering so quick.
I think, my question was not precise enough. The question must be: is it possible to get this little hand symbol, which appears on normal links, on text-links for example…Best regards
GrobiHi Rikard,
thanks for answering.
I now checked – in addition to firefox which I am usually using – the browsers chrome and safari.
In both it seems to be the same problem.
After opening the site (in backend), the elements are shown as they should. See the implemented logo grafics which is correct and which I want to see on frontend.
Opening the site in frontend view, still a picture is shown insteadt of the logo. See this.
And again – whether in Firefox, Chrome or Safari – the correct page can only be displayed if I click “Show Page”. (See here.) The problem, however, is that this is only the case in this tab.I also tried to open the pages on my smartphone (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) – the same effect… And I visited the website-adress via several computers, all the same as well.
As if I had never changed the page…Finally it not seemes to be a browser problem. Editing other websites and getting the right result on frontend is not a problem.
Can you give me a hint what you mean with “local maschine problem”?Thanks for your patience.
Best regads
GrobiThank you – no further help needed (here! ;-).
Best regards
GrobiThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Rikard,
thank you for your quick reply.
Unfortunately this doesn’t work.
I used now the “combination” between Yigits lines and yours:#top #wrap_all .header_color .av-menu-button-colored > a .avia-menu-text {
background: black;
border: none;
}#menu-item-166 a:hover {
background-color: orange;
}Best regards
GrobiHey Rikard,
of course. Please find it in the private content area. What you see there:
Now the navigation link “Kontakt” has the “Button Style Colored” orange background – which is set in Enfold’s “general styling” settings.
When I move the mouse over it, the colors changes a little bit. With Yigit’s code I can change the background to any other color – but unfortunately I can’t change the color slightly when mouse-over.
In other words: for me, the font color of “Kontakt” should remain white, the background should be black, and when hovering, the background should turn orange.
That’s definitely possible, isn’t it?
:-)Thanks for help and best regards
GrobiBut – sorry – could there be another problem related to the browser?
I just noticed that after making a change on the page and saving it, refreshing the front page doesn’t respond. I just had to update four or five times before the new status was displayed – and then also the admin bar again.
I use Mac, Firefox 121.0.1 and Enfold 5.6.2.
Do you have any experience with this effect?
Best regards
GrobiHi Rikard,
sorry for my late reply.
I feeded the index.php with the suggested code – and it works.
Thanks a lot!!!!
Best regards
GrobiHi Mike – I hope you are fine!
Thank you for answering.
Big sorry, but unfortunately I used the wrong term! I meant the admin-bar. 😬🤭Best regards
GrobiHi,
no further help needed (this second ;-)Close the topic, thanks
GrobiHey Rikard,
thanks a lot – that helped.
“What you know is easy. What you don’t know is difficult” – now I know more than before ;-)
Thanks again – nice christmas days!

GrobiHi Nikko and Rikard,
thanks a lot!
I will check it out!Best regards,
GrobiThis reply has been marked as private.Hey Rikard, thanks for your quick reply!!!
OK, so I will take a look at plugins for multi-step forms. Is there a plugin you think might help?
(Otherwise, of course, it’s my job to find one!)Thank you very much for your hint!
Best regards
GrobiHey Mike,
nice to hear from you!!!Yes, I meant that – and it works exactly like I wanted it. Thank you!
But please can you tell me: when I understand the code right, than it just controls the speed of the dropdown. Right?
And with a slower speed the time of appearance is automatically later.
If I would need an earlier appearance time – with the same slowness of the dropdown (1,9s) – this code wouldn’t do it. Is true what I think? (just for my understanding otherwise it’s perfect for me).Best regards
GrobiHi Rikard,
no further help needed (in this topic ;-))
Thanks!!

GrobiHi Rikard,
Thank you very much. I have learned again a little bit more!
What a big luck for me, that you enfold support-guys are so fast, friendly and competent, everytime I have to aks questions (which is often, unfortunately! ;-)
Best regards
GrobiHi Rikard,
thank you for your answer.
“Updated” means here (in general), that I take the new and just updated file from the parent theme, put it in the child theme, replacing the old one. Is that correct like this? (I thought, that I had done this – with no good result).Best regards
GrobiHi Yigit,
first of all: thank you very much for solving this and being so fast…
Than: to be honest – I do not know how I can “update” the header.php – and I even do not understand why the footer display changes from one day to another. Was this perhaps happening together with an enfold-update? Sorry, hope that this is not a silly question. In every case thank you a lot for giving me help!
Best regards
GrobiHi Rikard,
of course.
You find the credentials below.
Best regards
Grobi….and it is the same, when I replace the child-footer.php with the 4.9-enfold-one.
Hi.
Sorry for my late replay.
I’m obviously doing something wrong. If I rename the footer.php in my child theme (footer.bak), my site doesn’t show a footer anymore. What am I doing wrong?
Best regards
GrobiHi Yigit!
Of course!
Thanks for caring!
Best regards
GrobiHi Yigit,
sorry for the very late reply!
Thank you very much, works perfect!!!
(and I take the pink ;-)Best regards
GrobiMarch 8, 2022 at 12:34 pm in reply to: Exit notifier – Treat links in different directions differently. #1343601Hey Mike,
what can I say? Perfect (as usual). Thank you very much.
In addition to too little experience and knowledge (no js, for example), there are sometimes simply language problems (as you can see from my Google translation texts ;-) , which leave solutions undiscovered. I just didn’t see that as a solution.
1000 thanks – works perfectly.Best regards
GrobiHi Ismael,
first of all – sorry for my late reply and thanks for your helpful thaughts.
Now as I tried it out on some other sites I just can say It works brilliant.
But there is one thing you perhaps can fix: when you move the mouse over the tiktok-Symbol there is no hover color. Can you tell me how to repair that?Best regards

GrobiJanuary 22, 2022 at 1:31 pm in reply to: Vollbild-Slider, Grafik statt Überschrift: Größe anpassen mittig – recht – links #1336647Hi Mike,
thank you very much for this.
Now, as I’m able to manage the slider for the desktop-version I am working on the responsive design.
Is there a possibility to change the button size on responsive design (i want to make it smaller) and/or is it possible to change the buttons position to the slider caption? I mean the gap between caption and button which I want to change smaller. To get a hint here, this would be very fine!!!
Best regards
