Never mind! I think I found the issue:
I hadn’t yet created a MENU – I was using what was shown by default.
After I created a menu (Appearance, Customize, Menu) and identified it as an Enfold Main Menu, the underline bars appeared.Much thanks!
Yigit-
I’d love to have the bar of color but I’ve followed these directions from 2015 and I’m not able to see anything. Would the instructions be any different given the current version of Enfold? Thanks again for all you and your team’s fast response time!
Sorry for the late reply.
I’ll ask our business about this. It seems odd that it’s rather random – but for sure, it is entirely not your fault. that said, this is the first time that I’ve had a theme (or perhaps domain? trying BlueHost) give me trouble before.
Ok. So far so good. I’m hosting on GoDaddy. Maybe there was something done at the hosting side that caused this issue. Thanks again!
Thanks Yigit.
I only have a couple sites and thus far the upgrade hasn’t had any noticeably negative effect, so I’ll stick with 5.6.
I did do a fresh reinstall of the latest WordPress base, then installed enfold. I successfully installed the restaurant template, without issue. I just used ADVANCED WP Reset to wipe the DB, now going to try installing the default demo site again and see if I get the same issues. Stay tuned…Wow, fantastic reply time!
Looks like I’m at PHP 5.5. I will wipe, change to at least 5.6, and test – and report back later this evening.
Are there security issues with 5.5? I don’t really mess with these server settings too much. Plus I’ll need to ensure my other sites are working with this move.
